We were welcomed with top notch service that never ceased to amaze me. The hotel and staff were by far my favorite of all time. No kidding! Just when we thought the staff and accommodations couldn’t get any better, there was a surprise around the corner. They made us feel very comfortable throughout the stay and super special on my bday! Resort was really nice and excellent service, all staff is helpful and very professional, we don't need to ask for anything everything is prepared well by all staff from providing transport, room transfer, breakfast and dinner, in the island the system works very well and integrated, you don't need to bring your wallet anymore, everything is billed by your room number and stable internet coverage for whole island, 1 week for us is not enough there is many things can be explore and enjoyed. Personally I would like to thanks to Mike in the front office to gave us very late check out since we have late flight in the evening so we were fresh mind for our trip back. All I can say is very enjoyable moments in the island in the middle of Indian oceans.
The place was just fantastic. Flight was delayed but our pick up was ready for us. It was a vacation after 2 years and all of us were really looking forward to it. I always love pool bars and the pool bar was extra special because of Siva (the bartender) I loved his drink so much that I had his special drink all 7 days. Ask for bartender special drink. I just love it and I will miss it once I go back home. We were a group of 15 people and we ate at every restaurant available. Loved our experience.
With utmost displeasure i am writing this review for the management of saii lagoon. We had our bookings from the 10th to 15th of this month and we occupied the 3 beach villa’s and 3 water villa’s of the property. Since the time our group had arrived we have faced many inconveniences, there has been a constant delay with your buggy service and availability, on an average it took us good 15 mins to get a buggy, and there were unfortunate times where we even waited for 30 mins to avail a buggy request. The restaurants service speed was extremely slow causing delay and even resulting in us missing our reservations for our water activity at the dive center. My father is 80 years old and considering his age the hotel should have put our rooms on priority for buggy requests at the least. However these never got resolved till we departed, even after us approaching your front desk several times. What was really astonishing to note was that we were charged for spa’s which according to our travel agent was complimentary and included in the package we took. This miscommunications cost us an entire evening and even after that we were unable to get any solution. The spa reception checked with saii front desk and confirmed that the spa is complimentary, and only then we booked 5 spa’s. After the spa was done, at the time of checkout they charged us for it and did not budge even after we repeatedly told them that it was confirmed by you guys. Eventually due to lack of time i had to pay for the complimentary spas which is totally unacceptable. Furthermore there is a complimentary half an hour photography session which all guests could avail but we were not informed about it. The front desk was more interested to sell the mini packages which were exorbitant. Unaware of this complimentary photography session we booked our photography and they offered us a mini package of 245$. We weren't happy with any of the pictures and hence declined from paying the photographer who seemed uninterested in taking variety of pictures. He then asked us for 75$ as service fee for his 30 minutes service, however we were still kept in the dark that 30 minutes were complimentary and not payable by us. All in all we felt cheated whereby they tried to dupe us in all possible ways, even after we purchased the best rooms on their property. In conclusion i am thoroughly disappointed with the way the holiday was managed inspite of us taking a premium package. These delays and confusion from the hotel side has left a sour experience in our minds. They have many many glitches in their handigo app too, our restaurant reservations got cancelled because we moved from the beach villa to the water villa, it was saii lagoons responsibility to track their guests, and not ours to inform the restaurant that we have moved from one room to the other. Also upon moving from one villa to the other we wernt proprely introduced to the water villa, which any five star properly takes ownership for. Highly disappointed by their services.…
We had a relaxing and recharging experience during our stay in Saii Lagoon. Booked a 2 day stay with them and my brother had to extend for another day because he was pleased with the service and accomodation. We actually visited wayback January 2020 before covid hit. The place is peaceful and if you are looking for a place to get a much deserve R and R. This the right place to go to. It also has a great selection of food choices was tasty and umami. They serve roasted pork which was very delicious. The staff overall were very polite, courteous and well accomodating. I will surely comeback together with the rest of my family again.
