Went here on a Saturday lunchtime, very nice welcome from the landlady, my friends had Timothy Taylor's which they liked but, the white wine wasn't brill. We had to ask for the wi-fi code but that was forthcoming. Clean and tidy Would go back.

Heard good reports so decided to sample for ourselves. Steak was superb and melted in the mouth. Attentive staff and relaxing atmosphere made the evening one to remember. Well done all - we will be back.

Had a carvery lunch using groupon vouchers. We were extremely impressed with the food, the staff and the restaurant!. Neil had the beef, which he said was perfect! I had the Mediterranean wellington, which was really tasty. Plenty of food, good selection of vegetables too. Clean plates all round! Will definitely be back.

“There is only one room (it really is that quaint!), so book early if you don't want to be disappointed. This was a very relaxing break without the kids with lots of nice walks nearby and cities of Lincoln and Nottingham only 50 min drive or London 60 minutes on the train.”
