This is the best budget place you can ever go to. And can be quite romantic if you want a quiet life and spend time in the room. Booking Its not easy to book as they dont have proper websites and are not listed anywhere on apps. Arrival. No way for you to get there conveniently after dropping off from...

This hotel catch my interest due to its antique looking. It is an old building but the furniture inside is not bad, with me it is quite cozy and comfortable. The room keep original design from decade ago, with basic furniture and very clean, the bathroom has hot shower. Service is good and staffs are very friendly. A good experience...

Just read the last review and i don´t really agree with it. I think this hotel is very nice as you´re staying in a Malay house who has been standing there since 1929. and is still in a very good state. Off course you don´t have the comfort of a new modern hotel, but if you´re looking to have an...

According tot the Lonely Planet this hotel is reason enough tot stop in Pekan. Well, if you're into mediocre hotels with bad service you should defenately go! Bed was okay, bathroom had the worst shower I had in Malaysia and the service desk couldn't call us a taxi, nor provide us with any information about the city/busses. No wifi. On...

I do want to offer a word of advice though; it is a wooden house and as such quite noisy, unless you are the only ones...

This is probably not everyones cup of tea, but I loved the guesthouse. You can see that the guesthouse was build before electricity and running water were a commodity: water pipes, electricity wires and air-conditioning have been added at a later stage and are mounted on the walls. The showers only have cold water. The building is a weatherboard, and...

This is a one-of-a-kind traditional resthouse built in 1929 by the Sultan of Pahang. Service has declined markedly over the last 10 years, but the resthouse is still fantastic value at 55 ringitts per room. For this, you get a large rattan and iron bed, ample space, excellent bathroom and good facilities. It is well worth booking in advance as...
