Detailed Reviews
I have stayed here many times over the last 10 years. The cottages have everything you need. Always clean and ready to go. Owners are always very helpful and are wonderful people. Cabot beach is minutes away, it's just as beautiful as Cavendish beach but less crowded. The motel units are just as nice as the cottages, just a bit smaller. We have always had a great experience and prices are very affordable.

We spent August 30th to Sept. 8th, 2015 & the cottage was great, very comfortable & very clean. Kitchen was contained with everything we needed & the owners were lovely people. They made you feel welcome & they were very helpful & pleasant. We would recommend this place for it was very handy to the beaches, & shopping. We were visiting friends in Darnley & this place was idea for commuting with our friends. They had a firepit, supplied wood & all kind of lawn games to play. The lawn were kept up clean & tidy.
We certainly enjoyed our stay with the kind owners. We would go back there for sure.

Just a bit of a backstory on our stay: we (my parents and I) had booked two nights at the Twin Shores campground nearby (also a wonderful experience!) and actually did not have any plans to stay here. But at around 8pm on the first night of our stay at Twin Shores, a storm blew in with very strong winds and rain. Our tent site was by the beach and had no trees to protect us from the storm, so we had to pack up and leave and hope for a motel nearby with vacancy. After a stressful drive in the dark and pelting rain, we found Clearview. The owner was very kind and helpful when we arrived, even though it was late at night and we were soaking wet from the rain! She quickly got us into room #1. We were so thankful to have a warm, dry place to sleep. The beds were reasonably comfortable. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathrooms, but we had no problem with that since our stay was so last-minute, we did not give the staff any time to prepare our room.
Overall, a lovely place with kind owners. We loved the decor in the room, too!

We rented a 2-bedroom cottage for 4 nights. What a great space! One bedroom had a twin bed and a double bed with room to spare! Nice kitchen and clean bathroom! Enjoyed the views! Very nice owners and other guests were friendly. Owners left wood by the fire pit to have an eveing camp fire. There is no A/C however never needed it. It was nice to have windows open to enjoy the cool breeze. Just a mile from the Cabot Beach Provincial Park that has a nice beach. No charge for visitors. Less than an hours drive to Cavendish, Charlottetown, Summerside and Confederation Bridge. Would return in a heart beat!
