The rooms are dirty. The water in shower not in function. Dangerous for swimming cause a lot of sea urchins. A lot of garbage in otherside of islands. The foods are not special. I and my colleages will not come here again. We are really disappontied.

If you're expecting a rustic, low-tech, back-to-nature getaway, this is the place for you! The rooms in our Bougainville villas were very basic (bed, bathroom, cane furniture, a television we never switched on, air conditioner) which suited our purpose seeing that we didn't plan on spending too much time indoors. We did miss having a bar fridge to keep the...

Stayed 1 night here. The beach is pretty and relaxing. Some trash but not too much to be overly concerned about. However for what you pay, it is simply not worth it. It is one step above camping. Our power and water cut off morning of checkout. Since checkout is at 2pm, this is annoying. No showers after the beach...

Will you be treated like a VIP? No. Will you stay in the lap of luxury in an idyllic oasis? Not exactly. Is it a rowdy party place until the early hours? Not unless you bring the party. But will you find a quite spot to hear the waves on a relatively clean beach, and be treated to basic, but...

I've been to the Thousand Islands many times and so far this is the best. Plus: - The beach is very swim-able and it has several spots as well (near the dive center, in front/beside the restaurant, in front of the rooms), different with Sepa that only has one at the front or Tiger Island that has lots of sea...

We're currently living in Jakarta, and to get out here was paradise! It's very rustic and spartan, but it's part of the charm of this island. The hotel only manage half of the island while the rest is abanadoned. So if you're looking for a luxury resort this is not the place, however, this place is so relaxing and as...

Stayed one night on a dive excursion. I've looked at all of the pictures others have posted and saw enough familiar landmarks (restaurant, common areas, dog, cockatiel) to be sure that I am reviewing the facility at which I stayed...but the similarity ends there. My room looked nothing like the other pictures posted - it was a cute but rustic...

It's one of Thousand island. Walking around is only 20 minutes. The boat from Ancol leaves at 08.00 am. The staff is friendly. We booked from a travel agent in Jakarta. 3 Days 2 nights incl. 7 meal for about € 320. It's expensive but it's worth it if you like enjoy the life. The west side of the island is...

We hired a speed boat to visit thousand islands. Pelangi came highly recommended to us but we were very disappointed. The island was extremely peaceful except for the sound of a chainsaw or something cutting through the warm air. We walked the entire island looking for a nice stretch of beach to relax on and swim in. When we asked...

We stayed one night on the island during the week and we were the only guests. Quite a nice island with nice garden. On the positive side are: water very clear, we even saw a turtle from the dining room, the staff is very friendly and always ready to help, the accommodation was very spacious and comfortable with TV. On...
