We spent one week in February 2017 in this place and our feeling is shared... The bungalows are nice and the surroundings well-kept. The toilet is cleaned every day and the staff friendly. The food is ok as long as there are not to many guests... Fruits are missing and forget about a snack when you come back from diving......

We stayed there for 7 nights and during our stay, we were really happy with the homestay people and other guests. The ladies always cooked good food for us with usually 3 different type of dishes. Towels are provided in this bungalows and the western toilet has toilet papers unlike some other homestays. This place is managed by Reuben and...

I can see that this Homestay could be great if you came at the right time. I was there over xmas which was quite busy and you could tell the Homestay was a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests. Food was often quite late and with not enough to go around- the ladies in the kitchen were quite stretched....

I stayed for 9 days, about a month ago. I had a great time. The diving here is amazing! I think the best in the world. Berto was my fave DM. He gave very detailed plans, adjusted the dive to each person’s strengths and weaknesses, dove with the current instead of against it. The other DM I saw were for...

I was here in the beginning of 2016. It was a really calm and beautiful island. Koranu Fyak is located in Kri Island, Raja Ampat, Papua Indonesia. The room was quite simple with mattress on the wooden floor and a mosquito net was there also, the price was good. I was diving there with Eric and some other local guide....

We have been there for 6 days and it was fantastic. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Sara is very careful of the guests needs and make you feel home. The rooms are very simple but enough when you are in the paradise. The shower & toilet space was clean and sufficient. The food was always good and...

This review is long overdue and I was just prompted to write it after recommending this home stay yet again to someone. I am from the United States and had wanted to visit Raja Ampat for many years after reading about the underwater paradise that it is. Being that the higher end resorts were out of my budget I was...

I have travelled extensively and have been to many islands - a passion that I seem to always chase. On arriving at Koranu Fyak on Kri Island, I knew immediately that I had found one of the gems. I was proved right after just one day there. It is run incredibly well run by Sara and Cedric: they really do...

My husband and I stayed at the homestay next to Koranu Fyak but completed our PADI course here. We were extremely satisfied with Eric the dive master. He was very organized and has a great balance of being serious and easy going. He's a great teacher, we felt very fortunate to learn from him. We spent a fair amount of...

Koranu Fyak Bungalows is a home stay and this is, what you have to be aware of. You are paying by far less, than you would pay in a resort and thus you have to expect to have less luxury in terms of sleeping, eating and diving. Everything is very basic. You will be sleeping in a hut with mosquito...

“Since there is no air-condition or fan at night due to lack of electricity. It is highly recommend to stay in the room at beach front so that you can get some wind flow-in. There is one room staying the frontest as if a water village. This should be the best room at this homestay. Ask for this room, if it is at all possible.”
