We booked the 3d2n package and were really pleased with our visit. There was a lot of rain but still managed to see many different types of wildlife including an mother orangutan with its baby. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything with great detail. The camp itself is very simple but your area sleeping in the wild. I...

We had booked a 2N3D packge. throught a long boat trip, we get to the camp. I found the guides here are knowledgable and helpful. Our schedule is full of river safaris and jungle trecking. We found many wild lives around. especially orang utans and probocious monkeys and another two types of monkeys. and also many birds and one crocadile....

A friend and I were recommended this trip along the Kinabatangan river, and we are so thankful we took the advice. From the very first boat trip into the jungle, it was clear that the staff were very alert and knowledgable about their surroundings and the wildlife there. Although probably not the best time of the year visit, as the...

Very nice 2 nights/ 3 day trip at the Kitabatangan river. Professional guides who were partially coming from the villages nearby. All facilities are very simple (you shower with river water and there are a lot of mosquitoes), but if you can handle this you get a really cool experience. Food was great and we saw a lot of wild...

We stayed for 2n/3d at Uncle Tans. We had lunch & a brief at their Ops base before getting on a bus for an hour. We then transferred to a boat for an hour trip down the river to the jungle camp. On the river we were lucky to see 4 orangutans in the wild! We did a night cruise,...

We stayed at Uncle Tan's and did the 3 day 2 night package. Met at the base in Sepilok and were briefed about what to bring.......then took a van ride for 1½ hours out to the jetty where we boarded a boat for a 1 hour trip up the river. We stayed at the very end of the boardwalk near...

I will try to keep this review short but I doubt I will be able too as it was simply brilliant. I use a phrase at work all the time 'under promise and over deliver' and Uncle Tan's delivers this from start to finish. If you want a true wildlife experience this place delivers it in abundance. The journey there...

Excellent staff led by Lan. Very experienced guides and fantastic boat trips. Be prepared for basic jungle living and you will appreciate the experience. Food is very good, everyone of the camps crew is smiling 24/7. Even got invited to a jungle football match in the Kampong, that made my trip. This trip is not for the squeamish who complain,...

If you want a proper wildlife safari in Borneo, UT are the real deal, but be prepared for 5:30 am calls to get up and get out to see the animals stir or night safaris all led by excellent guides. LAN's team including M an Abdul knew their stuff. At camp things are laid back, with the real jungle accommodation...
