Booked via Borneo Eco Tours, included Sepilok and sun bear visit before heading to Sukah Rainforest Lodge for a 2-night stay. All very professional, friendly and informative from start to finish. SRL itself is a beautiful and comfortable lodge of around 20 rooms, which has a long history of delivering sustainable Eco tourism in this unique area. All rooms are...

I spent 3 nights at Sukau Rainforest Lodge and it was a great experience. We saw Bertuah and Hari, the female orang utan and her son when we went for a walk on the board walk. The river boat rides were an excellent opportunity to see proboscis monkeys, orangs, hornbills and lots of other exciting wildlife. The lodge rooms are...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Borneo Eco Tours trip, which included Turtle Island.. FABULOUS. From the moment we stepped off the boat the service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a great team of people running this lodge. Service standards were very high, rooms were amazing, food excellent and what a place to...

We had an amazing time with our 8 year old son, the tour was very well organised and child friendly, all the boats were very comfortable and well equipped, we were met from the airport and welcomed the air conditioned transport. We started with an exciting encounter with Orangutans in rehabilitation, at the excellent Sepilok facility which was just the...

We stayed for 2 nights in March as part of the tour booked through Borneo Eco Tours - we really enjoyed our stay here. A lovely greeting on arrival with a cool towel and fresh juice - the staff are all very friendly, helpful and speak very good English. There is a gong that sounds at food time and the...

We spent 3D/2N in Sukau Rainforest lodge, with our 2 kids age 7. The journey and travel type is fully OK for children that age. Our choice for this lodge was triggered by their eco-tourism engagement (crucial in endangered Borneo), the National Geographic endorsement, the fantastic setting over the river, and the small deep pool, ideal refreshing moment for the...

Dear PascalC, Thank you for your feedback and we'll certainly use it to improve. Noted your comment about jam and honey. The condiments do rotate but I will check why there wasn't any jam as that should be standard always. I'm so glad your children had such a great time. I'll give the crocs a call why they were absent...

If you love wildlife, enjoy the ethos of an eco-lodge and are seeking an authentic, friendly, homely base to experience the Bornean rainforest - look no further. The lodge is charming, neatly nestled into the banks of the Kinabatangan river. The bedrooms are basic, but clean, with a shower and toilet linked to the bed area. The rooms are not...

Dear nickh, Thank you so much for your kind review. We do hope very much that you'll be back again in Borneo one day, perhaps to show your kids the lovely ecosystem and diverse wildlife we're so lucky to have here on planet earth. Until then, we bid you Sampai Jumpa Lagi (til' we meet again!)

Two nights at this stunning river lodge. The setting and accommodation are out of this world with beautiful clean and comfortable rooms. There are only twenty rooms so the whole lodge even went full isn't too busy. Food is totally acceptable and the bar area is a great place to relax and chat to other visitors about the wildlife they've...

We had a nice stay here with good food, nice rooms and friendly staff. There are also a number of different activities, almost all of them including some amount of river cruise. The river cruise is nice and we saw quite a number of different wildlife. There is no A/C in the room but we found that very nice. It...

It was fun taking boat rides rather than land cruisers to see the wildlife. The staff is very accommodating, and the in house guides were great. However, we had a private guide set up with our travel agency, who wasn't so good. The rooms are very basic. The food is good and the drinks are expensive. It only has ceiling...
