We stayed at this lodge for two nights and had a really good time. We could see three different kind of monkeys, orangutans and many birds. The tour was well organized and the guides were all very professional. I was amazed by their ability of spotting animals in the jungle. All of the staff were very friendly, warm and helpful....

From the moment we stepped off the boat and entered Sakau nothing was a problem. Staff went out of their way to ensure you were happy with everything, nothing was too much trouble. All tours were well run and very informative guides helping spot all the BIG 5 jungle animals. Rooms very clean, bar well stocked and run. Food amazing...

We booked the Sukau Rainforest Lodge for our last few days in Borneo and we weren't dissapointed. The lodge is beautiful and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our guide, Jemaili (hope I'm spelling it correctly) was simply amazing. He found the smallest critters while cruising on the boat and we were lucky enough to see elephants, orang utans,...

From the staff to the excursions to the meals, Sukau lodge was everything we wanted for our trip. One little thing is that the wifi is dodgy. The guides are extremely knowledagble and friendly. When I had a little medical issue (unrelated to my stay) they brought me to the clinic and had me back in no time.

We had a 2 night stay here during our Borneo trip. We arrived with boat from sandakan seeing both pigmy elephant, promiscus monkey, orangutan and hornbill before even arriving at the lodge. Lodge is situated by the river in a very nice setting. Staff is very friendly and service minded. All meals are included as Buffett that offers good food....

A very well organized lodge two and a half hour by speed boat up the river from Sandakan. Plenty of activities assisted by the excellent guides (Li and Joe). We spent three nights here, and on our third day we had Li all by ourselves which was an extra bonus. We saw orang utan, crocodile, pygmy elephant, mouse deer, hornbill...

Wow! As we approached the lodge on the river it felt special straight away. We transferred from Sandakan by river cruise which was incredible in itself. We saw 3 large crocodiles and a large male Orangutan as well as probiscus monkeys and maccacs. The welcome was lovely from all the staff, so friendly. The rooms were lovely and the food...

We visited the lodge as part of the tour package arranged by Borneo Eco Tours. Our stay was memorable, fantastic and fun. The English-speaking staff were friendly and very eager to please and help, and this is a very professionally-run outfit. The boat cruises were fun and we were able to spot a lot of wildlife from Hornbills to Orang...

I loved everything about this place. From the moment we arrived by boat from Sandakan we were very warmly welcomed. The staff always greeted us with a smile. We did the 3 day 2 night tour with Borneo Eco Tours and enjoyed each and every day. The rooms were lovely and sleeping in the evening listening to the jungle sounds...

I hope I have enough space for all the wonderful things I have to say about this jungle gem. I stayed longer than the average stay to try to capture some shots of orang-utans in the wild and I wasn't disappointed thanks to my excellent guide Jamil. As a photographer I had different priorities to 'regular' tourists and since the...
