The stay in this hotel gives you free access to the waterpark, which is absolutely amazing in any weather because there is just as much for kids/teens and their parents to do in the in-door part of the waterpark as on the outside (if not more!). It has slides, waterfalls, diving boards, numerous kids sections and much more. The staff are all friendly and the food is delicious. One slight criticism about the restaurant is that on weekday evenings there is no buffet and the service is EXTREMELY slow. We ended up waiting hours for food to be served, but it was delicious when it came. Other than that, I can highly recommend this hotel! The village where the hotel is situated also has all the shops/cafes and amenities within walking distance and you're only a 15-20 mins taxi ride away from Paderborn.…
Pleasantly situated and expansive sauna areas both inside and out. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the flotation experience in the Salinariam. We were also pleased that the restaurant could provide a three course evening vegan meal for us.
We booked the Vital Hotel mainly for the direct access to the adjacent Thermen-complex. The hotel and Thermen facility are located in a quite area at the end of the little city of Bad Lippspringe. The hotel has the standard facilties. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The beds are rather small and the pillows fail to give sufficient support. A bathrobe and sauna towels were avaiblale in the room and these were exchanged on a daily basis. The breakfast buffet was OK and same was the menu for the dinner. All dishes were well presented and especially the fish dishes were very tasty. The direct access to the sauna complex was certainly a big plus for the hotel. No hassle with lockers, changing rooms, etc. The access to the sauna complex and your room is arranged via the very same chip to be worn on your wrist. The wine list was limited with focus on German white wines at reasonable prices. All in all we have spend a very nice relaxing time at the Vital hotel. Just to be repeated !…
The hotel is very clean and our room, a suite, was quiet and very spaceous. The restaurant had great meals and the service was excellent. The wine also was of very good quality. In some places the facilities are a little out dated. The swimming pool both inside and outdoor was of a very fine temperature and there was more than enough room even on the busy Sunday. The water slides are marvellous. The Sauna area offers a multitude of different sauna’s both in temparatures as in aroma’s. The salinarium, which has to be paid for separately had a nice 12% Salt water basin and also a Salt Sauna. This three day stay was more than worth the money.
The room was large and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including bathrobe and disposable slippers. Parking was free. There is a wooded area behind the hotel, where you can go for a nice walk. This pool adjoins a swimming complex that has a large indoor/outdoor pool, a lap pool, two slides and saunas. The complex has its own (affordable) restaurant. We loved this pool. It makes the hotel. The breakfasts were very nice, the kind of breakfast you'd see at an upscale German hotel.
Nice hotel with huge SPA, been there many times as a couple and later as a couple with small children. A lot of swimming pools and saunas. The food is of high quality. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy.
Booked this hotel because of the pool etc and with the temperatures soaring to 30+ then then pool was good relaxation. But With the heat comes a border line sauna which is your room. We were dreading going back to the room. We asked for a fan and got given the office's desk fan which was less than ideal. You can see that this hotel is 4 star due to pool facilities it has. Parking was a nightmare due to the amount of people flocking to the pool in the heat, the parking spaces were not easy to get hold of. Maybe more parking for hotel guests?? Overall a pleasant stay but will try and return in Autumn or winter next time lol.
Nice room, nice food, nice staff shame that the small things in life were not attended to as agreed or on time. A 4 star hotel that exists on its good facilities but struggles to cope with modern day demands and amenities like air conditioning.
An outstanding establishment with a swimming pool sauna, plunge pools, sun bathing area etc. What really stood out for me was the quality of the food. It was truly outstanding and there was a wide choice on the menu. The hotel rooms were fine and your hotel key-card got you into the pool or sauna for free.
Hotel is not bad, but rooms were quite small. I stayed in two different rooms in the new building. Rooms on the left side of the corridor are quieter. On the right side, there is football field (or whatever) and probably every evening was somebody doing something there. I also heard some low frequency noise from air conditioning or something similar. The most annoying were neighbors, who were smoking from the windows. Breakfast were good, but I a little bit missed selection of small fruit, but it was OK. Internet on WiFi was free. You have to login with shared username and password, this is sometimes problematic on our company laptops due to some security settings. Internet was two times down – once for about 1 day and second time for 3 days and the speed was sometimes too low for video Skype calls. Laundry service was OK. Staff was more-or-less OK, but I would expect they would take case about Internet problem faster. Pool was nice, including the slide and whirlpools. Pool was usually overpopulated on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday, especially find a space in the whirlpool takes time. On the first Friday of the month, there is a bar with cocktails in the pool area, this is really nice.…
