Situated in Desvres, under an hour from the Chunnel, this hotel is superb, perfectly located for exploring the hidden gems of Pas-de-Calais. I had a weekend cycling, the countryside is beautiful, exceeding expectations based on journeys along the A26 & A16. Having trvelled a lot through France I can say this area is in my top 5 and the hotel...

I'm not one for writing reviews so trust me when I say that my stay in this hotel was beyond expectations. I was there for a weekend of cycling with others like minded and when done cycling found no trouble in relaxing in and around the hotel which is beautifully located in 98 acres of land. The hosts and staff...

I used the Moulin as a base for a weekend's cycling in the Pas de Calais region and it was perfect for the job. It's clean and comfortable, the staff are really friendly, the food is excellent and it's only 40 minutes from Le Shuttle. The area is much nicer than I expected it to be too - there's a...

We stayed here as a couple for a weekend break to explore the French countryside and visit the area Boulogne, and this has to be the best hotel in the area! We stayed at this hotel with our two children (aged 13 and 9) for two nights over New Year. Food was excellent as were the staff, and the location of the hotel is very pretty and quiet. Rooms were also excellent and individually designed - a welcome change from the regularity you get with rooms in a hotel chain. Also...

The hotel staff were welcoming and so accommodating. I have stayed at the hotel with my family (2 boys aged 13 and 11) who had an amazing time running wild in the grounds and then unfortunately hooking up on the free wifi! The second trip I took my elderly parents and wheel-chair bound brother and the staff were fantastic. Knowledgeable...

We stayed here with our dog and only booked a few hours before arrival as we were delayed getting to Calais. The rural setting was beautiful and we felt well looked after. Would definitely recommend!!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with a group of 22 people from The Rocking Ukulele of Ely, U.K. The welcome we received from the owner, Francois was both very warm and professional. Throughout my stay he went the extra mile to accommodate us all. He had catered to my dietary problems with 100%. And educated me on...

Nice to find a room for disabled people that really has good amenities, and is in the main part of the hotel - not hidden away. Lovely location, surrounded by woods and with a very attractive little market town nearby. The ceramics museum is a little gem. Excellent dinner, good breakfasts, and a very comfortable stay.
