The hotel is located downtown and close to a small shopping mall. There are some restaurants, pubs and other shops in a walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out were very fast. I had a Superior Room with a King size bed. The room was on the road side but extremely quiet, I didn't listen any noise by night. The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The Led lights gave a modern looking. Inside the room there were a sofa, a desk, free and fast Wi-Fi, a kettle with coffee and tea facilities, a minibar, an iron and a safe. The bathroom was also modern and clean, everything you need was there. The breakfast buffet was excellent, there was a large choice of everything. Lots of fresh and local products, fresh orange juice, pastries, eggs,.... I really enjoyed it. I have stayed to the other hotels of Seinäjoki and for now, this breakfast was the best in town. They have a private parking place under the building which looked safe. It will cost you 14€ per night but I appreciated it in the morning when my car was already warm and I didn't have to remove the snow from it. I really enjoyed the night I spent in this hotel and next time I will stop at Seinäjoki I will stay again to this hotel and maybe have time to try their restaurant. If you search for this hotel on YouTube you will see the video I did and it will give you a better idea.…
Stayed for one night in Jan. Heads up the hotel has gone through thorough refurb and is looking better than ever. Even the bathroom was updated and looked fabulous. We had a double with a sofabed. No desk, just a movable shelf. There is a cabinet for minifridge, but no fridge there, just empty space which was strange. Front desk said that we were in one of the smallest rooms (only a couple of those available) and therefore no desk. Decoration contemporary and modern, all furniture have been made somewhere nearby in Finland which is a nice touch. There is a leaflet explaining the origins. Breakfast offering standard for this chain, and we were happy with the selection. New machine to squeeze orange juice yourself! Friendly front desk staff. Parking available for 8 eur per night in the garage. My only complaint would be that as there are automatic lights in the bathroom which light up whenever door is opened AND a floor to ceiling mirror opposite to the bathroom door, the room gets light during the night if somebody opens the bathroom door. And a direct view through the mirror to the bathroom from the bed if door is not closed. The lights bothered me, but not my family. Our view was directly to the roof and nothing else. We did not mind that.…
Located in central Seinäjoki, we stayed at this hotel with our small dog. Travelling with a dog you easily notice how your furry companion is treated at different hotels and Vaakuna did an excellent job at this - both us and our dog was greeted friendly and our dog was given an own gift bag with goodies. In our room they even had a small towel and a water bowl waiting for her. One of the best dog-welcomes we have had.
I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times. The Service is always full-hearted, the rooms and the whole location is very clean and cosy. The breakfast is very good, with some tasty local offerings.
A newly renovated hotel. The room was colourful in a nice and subtle way, was very quiet and had a good bed. The breakfast was nice and typical for the Sokos chain. Friendly staff that sorted out a booking problem (made by my workplace) quickly.
