... you love the following: - Absolutely no service - Locked entrance on arrival and no one picking up the phone when calling (as desribed on a small note at the entrance) - A super warm hotel room with out any ventilation - Not possible to open window, stay cold or breath - Not possible to reach anyone at Omena - Big, out of control parties at the neighbour rooms and a lot of noise - To walk in/over vomit to acess your room (the stairs was full of it) - To stay awake several nights in a row Summary: DO NOT BOOK HERE. Try another hotel, at all costs. Thank me later. PS: Omena means Apple in finnish. This is without a doubt a rotten apple...

We travelled with a big group and were supposed to get rooms that could house us all. However 3 out of 4 rooms were way too small. This was particularly annoying as the windows cannot open and the ventilation doesn’t work. Thankfully one room could be upgraded to a proper sized room, but the other two rooms had to suffer. The toilets smelled badly and the shower wasn’t very great either, and it was nearly impossible to close the bathroom door. The double bed itself was fine to sleep on, but the chair beds were already killing your back after one night.

The worst experience ever in 4 years in Finland. Very loud pub downstairs, no ventilation/air conditioning in the room: I was informed at 2 pm on the day of arrival that it is broken and they are "investigating it". And of course windows cannot be opened for security reasons. For an unbearable sleepless night, they offer "a 20% discount at your next stay at an Omena hotel". All my communication with them was via email because there is no staff at the premises and they are not answering calls to their emergency number. Embarrassingly bad.

Omena hotel is one of those no service hotels. You get passcode. And with passcode you get to hotel and to you room. Hotel room was big and clean. Main things works as bed was good and shower works fine.
