Nice rooms, nice hotel and fantastic service. They made me some food when I came.. despite the kitchen being closed..and offered me a bottle of water and an apple from their orchard for my drive, as some examples of their service. Great place.

We were driving home back to the UK from a road trip to Tallinn and decided to take the route through Sweden and Denmark. We were looking for a place to stay the night and we chanced upon this place just off the E20 motorway. When we arrived, the place seemed deserted and closed, but their telephone number was clearly displayed on the front door. We called and booked a room by credit card and they provided us with the access code. The place was very clean and the room was more than adequate for us. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed. Beautiful view in the morning. We had to get up very early in order to catch our ferry to UK from Netherlands so we explained this on the phone and they were happy to accommodate this even though we were leaving before the check out time of 08:00. We were very happy this hotel could accommodate us at very short notice, late at night, despite it being a self-service hotel with no reception or night staff. There was a nice bar across the road that was open late and the staff and patrons were very friendly and accommodating. Overall this was a lucky find and I will definitely recommend to anyone using the E20 route through Denmark.

I like the minimalist concept of this quiet hotel in the middle of the country. The only thing missing in the room was the coffee machine, but one is always available in the lobby. Free parking, free and very fast wifi, complete breakfast and nice restaurant. Friendly staff and nice prices.

We were staying just for one night, it was calm and relaxing. It has a modern feel to it. the only thing I am not a big fan is that you don't have reception and it's fine if you don't have problems of any kind. We had a Wii and it did't function, neither did the TV, so it was impossible to have it fixed, because there was no one to ask to.

I stayed at the Vilcom just for one night with a colleague. We arrived around 8pm and had to telephone someone to give us a code to let us in. Because we'd booked via an agent we had not received the email with the code. There's a restaurant in the golf centre over the road but by the time we got there; 8:30, they'd stopped servicing. We had to drive a few km into town to find food. The rooms are big enough and beds comfy. No coffee making possible. There is a glass partition between the bedroom and the toilet area. Which is probably cool if you are into that kind of think but I'm glad I was on my own. There's a kind of night light in the WC which cannot be turned off. Because of the glass partition it lights the whole bedroom up. I managed to tone the light down by sticking a piece of soap over the bulb; top tip! I just didn't click with the Vilcon.
