I searched online for a nice place to stay and these cottages, exceeded my expectations.
The cottages were clean and well maintained. A bonus is that there is a washer and dryer in each cottage and no charge to use. Yvonne is very friendly and personable.

Yvonnes regular accommodation was full and she offered us a separate cottage unit close by. We experienced fog on each of the 3 days we were there but despite that our stay was fabulous as we had access to a very clean, complete kitchen, bath and laundry facility. We were a short drive to St. Anthony and everything it has to offer as well as L'anse aux Meadows and the numerous trails in the area. We value cleanliness, comfort and quiet and all of these were available in spades. Yvonne is a wonderful host and answered all questions about the area and was available as needed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed two nights. Lots to see and do in the area. Enjoyed Keith's boat tour and got to see humpback whales. Highlights include: Grenfell museum, Fisherman point hiking trails; iceberg siting at Goose Cove, visit to L'Anse meadows and Norstead and a great meal at Daily Catch at Saint Lunaire-Griquet.

My wife and I booked a 2 night stay back in February for May 30th and 31st. After booking we received an email confirmation. When we arrived we learned that Yvonne had no booking for us and the room was rented to others. So left us scrambling to find other accommodations. The location is not in St Anthony’s but across the cove in St Anthony’s Bight about 8km out of the away. It had no view to speak of. We weren’t able to stay so can’t comment on the interior or comfort. Yvonne was very apologetic - which was nice but not overly helpful. If planning on staying I would recommend you confirm your reservation more than once.

just spent two nights last week. we also booked a iceberg tour with captain Keith. The accomodations were cozy, clean and well maintained. We saw many icebergs and captain Keith was able to get us very close . We had seniors with us and they felt so safe out on the boat. I can not express how we are so grateful to have booked our tour with them , so polite, courteous and friendly. Would highly recomend to book with them and make sure to book early.

Our stay was short but just fine! Our room was pretty, nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. If we were to have stayed longer, there was enough kitchen to do simple meals. The location was quiet and just up from the water. The location was convenient to all that St Anthony had to provide and Lans Aux Meadows.

It is common practice for people before they stay at any accommodation to go inside and look things over, especially those of us who have had bad experiences with terrible accommodation. In fact most people will walk you through to make sure that you are happy with things. This was the very first time I that I was faced with a very confrontational person just for checking out the place to stay, stating that she felt that she was being inspected and I was only looking things over. It got things off to a bad start and put a damper on our visit. Will not go back. However the place was nice and had all the comforts you need.

The cottages are not right in St. Anthony so if you have evening plans you might not want to drive the road after dark. Cottage was very comfortable, much like a small apartment with a kitchen-living area and a bedroom. Washroom was very well laid out. The scenery was certainly what you would expect hanging off the edge of the province. Reasonably priced and very pleasant people.

We luckily stumbled upon Yvonne’s Cottages while looking for a place to stay after cancelling a less than desirable place. Yvonne was super friendly and when I smell cleaning products upon inspection, I’m already sold!! 2 - 2 bedroom fully furnished clean cottages and 1 - 1 room brand new room. We watched icebergs and whales from our cottage.
Yvonne was perfect, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. This place is just a few minutes outside St. Anthony, in a small community with beautiful views. Have already referred her to family and would definitely stay there again. Thanks Yvonne!!

My husband and I stayed here in June of this year and we just had to extend our stay because of how much we loved it! Clean well appointed cottages with everything you might want for cooking (including a BBQ!!!!). Yvonne really helped us out for local hikes and things to do. This is the best deal going around here for quality and friendliness! Wonderful people who have taken great care in their cottages and make you feel like you just need to stay longer. Very convenient to everything in the area but just a little out of the way so you get a great Newfoundland experience! Cannot say enough good things about this great place to stay or these lovely cottages !!!!!!!!!!!
