I recently stayed at the Cosy Cottage while studying nearby. I first visited in 2019 on weekdays for three months and the rooms, staff and owners were fantastic, so having to go back that way i booked in again and i was not disappointed! The room was great, the breakfast second to none, nothing too much trouble, friendly and efficient staff it has it all. So having returned home i thought i would take the time and post this review, Declan is an absolute gent and the lovely Sadie made my stay so enjoyable and when i have to go back that way later in the year the Cosy Cottage will be on top of my list! 5 star!!

We just stopped here at The Cosy Cottage for brunch en route & have to say it was very good. The staff were really efficient, food was very good & great value too. It was very busy with local trade, which is always a good sign, so we'd definitely drop in again when in the area.

My son and I visit here regularly. Even when it is packed (which is often because it is very popular) a table will always be found for us by the very helpful staff. The milkshakes are beautiful, a drink and dessert rolled into one! It is dependable, always open, 7 days. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and served quickly. Children are offered things to occupy them while you wait. The toilets are extremely clean, and there is and outside area where customers can sit and eat al fresco! My fussy eater son loves their chicken curry, chips and fish fingers! Lots of choice on the menu so I usually get different meals each visit. A favourite haunt, it never disappoints. Thanks to all the great staff who always improve our day!
