The aim of the trip was Malin head & too see the northern tip of the Rep. of Ireland & across to Northern Ireland to see The Giants Causeway etc. No plan, other than to find a B&B near Greencastle, for the ferry across the Foyle to Notthern Ireland. We were driving up the Derry road too Greencastle & spotted a B&B sign as we were coming into Moville, I tipped the break & swung into the left & up the drive with the idea of staying for one night if twin room available. Patrick meet the brother & I at the door & had the twin room available. After a moment of talking to Patrick, I figured Patrick was "Dead Sound", so inquired if he had the twin room for a second night, so we booked for two nights, but ended up staying for three. Great location for trips to Northern Ireland & around Donegal. Great view from dinning/sitting room. Handy place to hang out if the weather is bad if your into relaxing with a book (or nodding off while stretched out on the couch while watching the large TV after a long day out), as there is a conservatory & large sitting room with couch's etc.. Quite rooms. Walking distance to Moville. This is not a modern 21st century house, but it's all the better for it, if your into a more historic, lived in feel. Patrick was a brilliant host & fierce easy going. Did I mention the Breakfast............see photo ! All going well, I'll be back in 2020 to stay here & use it as a base for Derry city & the west of Donegal. If you want a 5 star hotel with a 5 star veneer of perfection then go find one, but you'll be hard pushed to find a nicer place to stay than here & even nicer people.

In the past we opted for hotels but on this occasion decided to seek better value for money and weren't we rewarded! This place is better than any 5* hotel and much cheaper. Admiralty House is spotlessly clean and produced one of the best breakfasts we have ever eaten. It really was a feast with endless choice. Amazing! The house is, we were told 200 years old, tastefully furnished and with a sea view. The hospitality was unreal and the place was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the town with a footpath and street lightlghts all the way. Will we come back? Absolutely, this was an experience, much more than bed and breakfast, something unique and to be treasured.

Fantastic location! Lots of room to park. Beautiful garden and lovely house. Easy check in/check out. Wonderful hosts - friendly and helpful. The house is very elegant and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is very spacious. The bed was quite comfortable, and the breakfast was very delicious! The robe, tea and biscuits in the room are a nice touch. Within easy walking distance to town and the beach, and in a quiet location. Patrick and Suzanne treated me like a queen, and I hated to leave!

The furnishings here were incredible. The house could be a museum. Patrick was special. We had many wonderful conversations. The breakfast- scramble eggs and salmon was delicious as well as the various cheeses. “A Definite Do Over”

We recently stayed for two nights at Admiralty house and it was amazing. Wonderful hospitality from our host and the house is full of character and charm. The town of Moville itself is a great spot for a weekend away. Highly recommended.
