Inishowen Lodge is situated on the scenic Inishowen peninsula of North Donegal just 25 minute drive from 2013 City of Culture, Derry/Londonderry. We have spectacular views over Lough Foyle towards the North Antrim Coast and during the summer months, there is an hourly ferry service from Greencastle to Magilligan which facilitates travel to the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery & the Carrick a Rede Rope Bridge. Malin Head, Ireland's most northernly point is approx 35 minutes away. All rooms are spacious with private facilities, free WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities. You can enjoy a choice of cooked breakfast each morning in our sunroom. The large comfortable guest sitting room provides an ideal location for relaxing in the evening. On cooler evenings there is an inviting log fire.

We stayed for 3 nights over the second May bank holiday with our cat Boo. Sinead and Darren were so welcoming and helpful with the booking, allowing us to bring our cat and once we arrived. The local knowledge they share is so thoughtful and made sure we ticked off all the must see sights in the area. The B&B has the most incredible views and is so peaceful, clean and comfortable. We had the triple en-suite room, which also had great views and was spacious with tea and coffee facilities with fresh milk. The continental buffet breakfast alongside cooked to order served in the conservatory was fantastic. Loved this place and the people and we were sorry to leave!

This is a special place! Our room and the views from our room were wonderful. Sinead and Darren are very welcoming and warm, and serve up a delicious and varied breakfast. The bonus is James, their adorable two year old son! We highly recommend this B&B to anyone traveling in the North.

Seinead, Darren and James welcomed us to Inishowen lodge. The en-suite room has an amazing view and is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice, we felt like we’d come to stay with friends which was so lovely. Our 4 year old absolutely enjoyed every minute and so did we. We hope to come back again and recommend to anyone heading to Donegal for a break

Seinead and Darren are amazing hosts, the views from the gorgeous en suite bedrooms are phenomenal. The range available for breakfast is superb they even accommodate for various dietary requirements and allergies as my mum is gluten free. I highly recommended this B&B as a place to stay in Red castle area and we will definitely be back.

We desparately needed a break, but it had to be within an easy drive. We always enjoy B&Bs so searched Tripeadvisor and found Inishown Lodge. From the moment we arrived until we left both Darren and Sinead were attentive; they had many tips about the local area and the accommodation and food were great. The room was fabulous with a very confy bed and decaffeinated teabags provided as requested! The choice of breakfast was more than enough for our stay and we tried several items from the menu. We asked for various adjustements to the dishes which were accommodated. Lovely food. The area is quiet and the views stunning. We tried several walks in the area which were just what we needed. It was great to get to know our hosts and we enjoyed their company. So what is this about jigsaws in the title? My wife is a jigsaw addict and they had a wonderful selection. She finished one that was half complete and then worked her way though 150, 500 and 1,000 piece jigsaws. An added d bonus to the holiday!…

Thank you both so much for leaving such a wonderful review. We are both delighted that you decided to stay with us and we could accommodate you for your mini break. From the comfy bed, great choice of breakfasts, that can be easily adjusted to suit our guests, to the local attractions within the area, we are glad you enjoyed it all! Darren and I are still in awe of your wife's jigsaw completing skills and I think I have told everyone I know my, 'impossible lockdown' jigsaw is now complete, thanks to her! Thanks again for choosing us, and we hope you are safe and well. All the best, Seinead and Darren.

We stayed for one night for an extremely sad and emotional funeral. The one ray of sunlight was our accommodation. From the minute we arrived we felt like we were arriving to our friends house for the weekend. Gorgeous breakfast could not recommend this lodge enough. Beautiful views and beautiful people.
