This old mansión in Arcos de la Frontera has preserved the rustic spirit of the palaces from the Cadiz mountain range. In 1729, the Nuñez de Prado family built this "señorial" house at the heart of the town. In 1998, Elena Posa, fell in love with the house, and settled here determined to respect its authenticity but at the same time living in her own style, and she has transformed it into a small, quiet, and unique hotel.

One of the most beautiful, tasteful, comfortable hotels we ever enjoyed!! The room was was spacious and beautifully furnished and opening directly to an enormous balcony with a magnificent view. In the night a starry sky.. The breakfast is very tasty and fresh, served in the beautiful open inner space carefully furnished too. Estefania was very welcoming and could give us lots of advise about what to visit. The service was excellent. Because Arcos is a small, old village on a steep hill. Therefore the hotel can't be reached with your own car, but there is a very good taxiservice

We loved our room with the 2 level terrace overlooking the cliff (see blue circle in picture). It looked like we were walking into a cave on the way to the room - very cool! Wifi didn't reach the room but who cares, instead - sit on the terrace, unwind, disconnect and relax. The staff was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Please take the advice and park in the lot on the way into town - do not try to drive into old town. Google maps was inaccurate many times and the roads are much narrower than in the other old towns that we visited. We took a taxi to the hotel (it can only take you close, not to the door.) The breakfast was extra but was very generous and delicious. We also enjoyed a drink on the rooftop patio in the evening. Visit the tourist office and get a map to walk and visit the sites. It was a great way to explore the old and new town. We had a lovely dinner at El Mirador de Isabel - a hidden gem and a beautiful place to watch the sunset. We would happily stay here again.

A wonderful location in the old town with magnificent views to nearby hisoric buidlings and over the rural landscape below. The sunsets from the roof top are memorable. There is a real sense of history reflected throughout the building. Modern tasteful renovations and a lovely breakfast made it a very enjoyable stay for us. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They provided great recommendations for things to do in the city and for where to eat in the evening. However, don't drive there. Nearby parking is conveniently available.

La Casa Grande has a nice rooftop veranda with an awesome view. But, the entry area is musty, non-descript and a bit depressing. The decor in our tiny room was 1970ish gaudy. The two attached, private terraces were dirty and littered with cigarette butts. The arched, underground hallway leading to our room was lovely and the most attractive area we saw. We were not informed of the rooftop bar service or the wifi on arrival so only saw the information at checkout. Breakfast was very good. There is great potential: With minimal effort and expense toward a bit of updating, La Casa Grande could be chic and welcoming.

La Case Grande is a beautiful, historic hotel at the top of the cliff in Arcos. Our room, which was very comfortable, had a terrace with an amazing view over the cliff across the valley. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a comfortable library that I wished I had more time to linger in. We had the hotel breakfast in the enclosed courtyard which we highly recommend - delicious, and generous. Had it been less hot we would have spent some time on the rooftop terrace as well. The staff are very helpful and we honestly wished we could stay longer!

Lovely, very traditional, hotel in the heart of Arcos old town. The hotel has been carefully created by its owner to retain the traditional features of the original townhouse. Our room was comfortable with a private balcony and terrace with great views across the valley. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

This surpassed my expectations. I love that it was right on the cliff and you have an amazing view. I also love that it’s in the heart of the old Pueblo town and you have to walk down the cute little streets to get there. The receptionist was very nice, and it was just overall a very nice experience. You do have to park and walk there but that’s part of the experience. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s a good stay for the money when you come to arcos.

We stayed there only one night, on our way through Pueblos Blancos. It's situated right in the centre, in a pedestrian street, and if you have some baggages the only way to get there is to take a taxi - you have to walk furthermore 100 m. But it's really worth it! Wonderful views from the room and terrace, nice old but very confortable rooms. It's absolutely worth having breakfast there, terrific patio and delicious food.
