The location is perfect for walking or a relaxing countryside break. If you are looking for glitz and glamour this place is not for you. It is a wonderful old house, typically rural with slate floored entrance hall containing wellies and umbrellas. Surrounded by paddocks with ponies, geese, chickens and peacocks and a very friendly resident dog. The welcome was...

My wife and I stayed at Buscot Manor while walking the Thames National Path. We arrived at Buscot late in the afternoon tired after a long walk. We were passing the small cafe near our destination when we realized we were far away from any restaurants and too tired to walk anywhere. So we turned around and entered only to...

Warm welcome which included tea and cakes. The rooms were lovely, and the four poster one of the most comfortable (and possibly the biggest!) bed I have ever slept in . Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Very quiet, and near to a lock and footpaths which offered interest and walking opportunities. Whilst I was there two narrow boats went through the...

iIts not often i approach a B&B and am slightly taken back with where I'm staying. The approach is similar to a mini Downton Abbey, with all the free range chickens following but a few steps behind. As if the impressive entrance hallway isn't enough, the rooms are large, spacious and each has an elegant 4 poster bed positioned centre...

This beautiful house is located perfectly near Buscot weir, and some good walks. The rooms are generous in size, with huge four poster beds. Too much soft furnishings and clutter for my liking, but my husband would disagree with me , and it is in keeping with the style of the house. I would have given 5 stars, but I'm...

My husband, our three girls, and I stayed here for two nights. Where do I begin?! The property (garden and manor) is absolutely breath-taking!! From the luxurious four-poster beds, charming bathrooms and the most serene surroundings to the most hospitable & inviting welcome and delicious breakfasts, we couldn't have been more pleased!! Our daughters especially loved the company who graciously...

We have just returned from a two night stay at Buscot Manor. We would agree that the location is idyllic and is surrounded by beautiful countryside with many places of interest to visit. We did know about the situation with the bathrooms and although we did book a private bathroom we found this arrangement far from ideal. The property is...

We stayed at Buscot Manor for our wedding night and we were so impressed. The house and rooms are absolutely stunning, the beds huge and so comfy and the grounds beautiful. Romney is so friendly and welcoming, she made everything really easy for us and our stay really comfortable. Can't wait to come back and bring our dog this time!...

I saw this gracious old house featured in a TV programme and I felt I wanted to visit and stay...........such a disappointment. The official description is cleverly worded - (misleading) to give the impression of a private bathroom! Infact the bathrooms are across the landing and anything but private - no shower. The room was large - four poster bed...
