I wanted somewhere big enough for 13 of us to eat together on a Saturday evening. We'd eaten at The Crown before so knew it was large enough so I emailed to book and was impressed by the prompt and friendly reply I received, confirming the booking and asking if we could order in advance. I duly sent the menu...

Stayed here previously, decided to pop in for Sunday roast after a day out locally. Lovely polite service, generous portions and nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Didn't wait long for food. Interior through the backroom could use a makeover as a little outdated.

Visited the Crown twice for dinner while staying up the road at the blue house. Both meals were amazing - really great quality food, fresh, served in good time. Desserts were absolutely divine. Service was also great - all the staff we encountered were polite and helpful.
