Under new management. The waiters were very attentive and the food excellent. It is a great location and they have a great play area for children (in the good weather). They have added touches to make the the visit a pleasant one. Would highly recommend a visit. I wish them well with their venture.

First time at Belmont Arms Hotel - the curry night certainly did not disappoint - huge portion sizes, and cooked to perfection - I chose the seafood korma. We were well looked after, lovely surroundings and friendly staff. The new management have done wonders in only a few weeks. It was fully booked when we were there so recommend that...

is most certainly in the eating. Been 3 times to the Belmont since it's re-opening and it is first class. Owner/chef is uber enthusiastic and turning out delicious, tasty and beautifully presented meals. Curry night is fantastic with a complimentary drink included. The fish dishes are wonderful and my partner raved about his venison burger. Delicious homemade cakes are also...

We visited on second night after opening and was quiet but the food was excellent - well cooked, good choice, healthy portions and great value. Returned a week later and much busier. Word has obviously spread - looks as though we have found a new regular eating...

1st time visit in many years but certainly won't be my last. We had excellent food even though mine host Jackie informed us that there was limited menu due to staff holidays. Still a lovely menu and very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

We stopped with our family, which includes two young children, on our way back home from a week's stressful hospital stay for our daughter. Our trip to the Belmont Arms was a perfect way to counteract a fraught week. We were made to feel most welcome throughout. The children played for over an hour in the delightful gardens and they...

Didn't book so had a little wait, no problem. Sat outside in the beer garden with a drink, enjoyed the sunshine. Good choice of food on the menu and on the specials board. We all enjoyed our meal. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Will be back.
