This is not a smart motel the rooms are tired and the walls are plastered with plastic notices. It is clean but the beds are lumpy & so uncomfortable. The rooms are overpriced for what they offer. The ladies who work in the restaurant have no charm or any idea of customer service. The food is much too expensive for...

Seafood delight!!! Fries were good not greasy! The baked haddock was delicious! I had scallops which was also delicious! Service was good as we were the last ones to arrive and dine this evening! Had take out as well couldn't get enough!! It was surprising this restaurant didnt come up in trip advisor - they were the only restaurant open...

We had horrible service at the restaurant yesterday. First we were told to move our car, without any thanks or apology. We waited over half an hour for our mediocre food, and the waitress was terribly unfriendly. She never asked to refill our drinks and was very rude when asked to bring something she forgot. We will never return here...

We were very happy with our recent stay here. If you're looking for a Marriot style hotel, you will be disappointed. Sheet Harbour is a small town, and the Fairwinds Motel is an excellent place to stay to enjoy the wonderful hospitality, tasty honest food, and good cheer of the Eastern Shores. The owners are wonderful folks and very entertaining....

Everything was good with this room except that it was so musty smelling my husband had to get a can of odor killing spray out of his truck and spray it on the carpet & all around the room. We both woke up at 3 am and considered leaving because the smell was so musty. In the future, I will...

I hate when people trash a motel. This is a person's livelihood; it supports not only themselves but other workers as well. When I read some of these reviews, I will be honest. I was nervous about staying here but had already booked the room. We took a chance and we are glad we did. We stayed in room 3...

This hotel is over priced by far, we've paid less to stay in nice clean cottages, with ocean veiws. This hotel how ever, cost $95+tax and the floors, rugs, windows, linens, shower are all dirty, absolutly filthy. The room smells. Its too hot, and the air conditioning is not working. No ocean veiw in this room at all, small frosted...

My husband and I stayed at The Fairwinds Motel on Sunday, July 12th, and had breakfast there on Monday, July 13th. It is an inexpensive motel located right beside the Irving in Sheet Harbour, but don't let the location fool you, it has harbour frontage and we had a wonderful view of the water from our room and from the...

This is a lower budget Hotel and so the expectations should be that as well. do recommend you try out the Restaurant as the food is quite good. Reasonable rooms and clean and the service is fast. You are right by the inlet so you can see fishing boats and coming and going.
