Travellers' Choice
The Windflower Resort & Spa Bandipur welcomes you to a land that's off the grid and nurtured by nature at our jungle resort. Trade your ringtone for birdcalls, and keep your eyes open for a real education. The forest has much to teach us, if we only listen. So rise with the sun and a steaming pot of chai, and then connect with the jungle with an unforgettable safari done by the jungle authorities through the mist-laden national park. Return to a wholesome, homely buffet spread in our open-air restaurant. Take a dip in the infinity pool, RE-EMERGE with our Spa or go sit by the water's edge at the Mangala reservoir. Warm your feet by the fire or under our soft, duvet covers. And do it all over again, naturally.

This was my first visit to Bandipur and one which was not planned. The resort was available at a slightly expensive rate which was understood because of the pandemic and trust me it was worth the money and wait. With the pool opened it was a trip that my family enjoyed after ages. The room was better than the pics that they have put up on the travel sites and was huge. The best part was that there was no TV so a small detox from the cable world. Right in the middle of the Forrest it’s an experience that my son loved as there were seeds outside our room. There are similar resorts around but the food and the service was no where close to what we have had in other places - mudumali and kabini. Obviously not comparing with evolve back and other places. I would like to specially thank the folks in the restaurant who took great care of my family. They arranged a late breakfast as I had an early safari which most places don’t agree to. The food was very good and the service was class apart. They ensured that we were taken care of in any way possible. A special thank to Subramaniyam, Nagaraj, Siddharth for everything they did for us. I am forgetting the name of the chef - Madhu I guess who prepared some dishes on request. All in all a wonderful experience from start to end. The only disappointment was that the cats maybe didn’t like us during the safari - they might have seen us but we couldn’t after doing 3 safaris. *deer pics outside our room at 5 am.

Just visit this resort for its food. Amazing food prepared by Chef Mahesh. The suit room is good but a little dissatisfied with the AC since the AC capacity could have been more depending on the suit room size. Otherwise a wonderfully ambience and one can see deer’s peacocks and mangoose roaming around in the resort.

We stayed here over the Holi long weekend and totally enjoyed our time. The resort is very well maintained and the staff are extremely courteous. The food was great both in terms of the spread and the taste. They had held off out breakfast for a good hour since we were out on a safari and reached well after regular breakfast hours. The live counters like roti, omlete and dosas were very prompt. In all a well fed and much needed break amidst covid times. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a quite stay without any disturbances and Windflower Bandipur selection was apt decision. Thanks to Chef Mahesh and his team (Madhu, etc) who ensured the guests were treated like Kings. Huge spread of food was excellent. Special mention to Mahesh (Spa manager) and his team priya who ensured the spa treatment was utmost comfort. Looking forward for one more visit possibly during monsoon.
