I have never written a less than enthusiastic review but this is the first time I have felt ratings were a bit surprising. We booked at the last minute and had a holiday cottage for one night. The owner is lovely and very welcoming but the standard of accommodation was not nearly as high as other chambre d'hotes we have... More

We could not have asked for more! The location was easy to find, but in a quiet parkland setting. The interior of the chateau was beautifully furnished and our hosts were very welcoming. We were able to sit outside in the late afternoon and enjoy the ambience whilst having a glass of wine some cheese and baguette.

We booked this at the last minute as a stop over on the way back from the south of France and were really pleased we found this gem of a place! Beautiful house and the top floor room we stayed in was huge, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The adjoining bathroom was also very spacious and well equipped with modern and... More

Like other reviewers we found this property quite by chance whilst looking for a family room. We stayed one night on our way down to the South of France. Our accommodation was in a single storey 3 roomed traditional style gite complete with shutters and stone floors in the grounds of the Chateau with a large private garden. The accommodation... More

We stayed here on our way home from South of France. We had a huge room for three of us, with a separate private bathroom. There was lots of play equipment in the extensive grounds including a trampoline that our 5 year old loved. The dinner was plain home cooked food that was accompanied by lovely local wine. The owner... More

My husband and grandaughter of 7 years spent 2 nights here and didn't want to leave. Frederick and his wife and lovely daughter treated us like family. They invited us out to the screenroom in the evening with a nice tray of local wine, pate and snails with bread. Frederick is a polo expert and has many polo horses and... More

We found the chateau when looking for a family room for an overnight stop travelling south. Easy to find from the autoroute and far exceeded our expectations. A lovely place for a family if you want something different from an anonymous room in a box style hotel - full of character. We were warmly welcomed and spent the evening walking... More
