Jia Bhoreli Wild Resort is a basic resort situated close to the Nameri National Park. It is a Tourism Dept. property (earlier known as Prashanti) which is now leased to a private entity. Like other MTDC, KTDC or other Govt. properties, its location is good, but management can definitely up their game in terms on maintenance and overall upkeep. There...

I read about this place on tripadvisor and decided to take the plunge ! The reservation was made over a telephone call to Binod Sarma , the ever smiling and ever helpful resort manager. We drove from Kaziranga after breakfast and reached by 1.30 pm . Since the better part of the day was already gone , we were informed...

Nameri has limited staying options - (a) Jia Bhoreli Wild Resort (nothing wild there but the name is derived from the river flowing nearby) and (b) Eco Camp - an association of Anglers. On our way to Dirang from Guwahati, our reliable driver Mr. Madan Basnath (Chetri - +919401838475) for the trip of Arunachal and Assam suggested that we should...

Jia Bhorelli is located close to the banks of Bhoroli river near Nameri National Park. It has scenic surroundings of beautiful mustard fields, idyllic countryside and a good view of the snowy Himalayas (during winters). It has simple cottages with basic amenities. Food is homely, with a variety of local dishes. Sometimes, they also organize wildlife programs on Pigmy Hog...

We stayed for 2 nights from 28th to 30th Jan, 2016. This was a peculiar resort. The location was good, quite close to the Jia Bhorelli river (800 meters) and surrounded by a sparsely populated village and agricultural fields. There were no resorts around. The nearest camp was the Nameri Eco Camp which was almost 600 meters away. The best...

This is a beautiful place to stay. I can say it is less commercialized than nameri eco camp so people looking out for peaceful stay can think of this. A little costlier than eco camp but worth it seeing the facilities like geyser. Its a perfect place for people who wants to do star gazing at night. Such a peaceful...
