Fantastic hotel,housekeeping was excellent, room was serviced everyday.Apartment was great,very clean,comfy beds,kitchen area was well equipped. The pool is fantastic, being able to swim actual lengths was good it has disabled access. Plenty of sunloungers.Quiet and relaxing.Checkin and out was seamless. You are on the outskirts of Vilamoura but they offer a free bus 3 times a day to the marina and beach.Plenty of golf courses.Supermarkets are a short walk.Overall a throughly enjoyable 2 weeks. They staff are all polite and courteous. We look forward to returning.

What a lovely hotel! We stayed here at the end of August as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Everything was kept clean and tidy throughout around the pool, cafe and reception areas. The rooms were tidied and cleaned every day by the maids, all other staff around the hotel were very helpful too! Our experience was a very positive one. The apartment was a very good standard for what we wanted, there was 1 bedroom and then a sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area. The kitchen was basic but enough to make a brew/toast or something simple like pasta. Although slightly out of town we actually enjoyed the location of this hotel. For those that want to go into town the hotel offers a free bus service 3 times per day into Vilamoura which is a bonus when it's hot. If we wanted to stay out later we sometimes used an uber which cost around 5/6euros into town. The hotel was very quiet and you didn't have to fight for sunbeds as there was plenty for everyone! Food was served in the small cafe/restaurant. It was basic but good enough if you don't want to cook or go into town. There is a Spar supermarket literally around the corner (0.2miles walk) which is well equipped with essentials and has a really good variety of fresh foods/bread. Although we didn't go to lay golf the hotel is in a perfect location for golfers as it's not far from some of the famous courses. We would definitely stay here again but I would advise that you check the location before you book. Some of the negative comments about the location do not do this place justice. …

I visit this hotel in August 2023 for a three night stay , we arrived about 1.00pm and were told the room would not be ready till after 3.00pm , the receptionist said we could borrow towels and go to the pool which is not great when your swim wear is in your cases . To be fair the booking in was easy and smooth and the receptionist was polite . The two bar men that wear glasses are extremely rude to guests and even when they see you waiting for drinks at the bar they ignore you , on two occasions i had to pull them on this , these guys should not be working with the public and are loosing this hotel a lot of money . The pool is a good size and clean , there are plenty of sun beds but not enough mattresses to go on them , I saw on the last day a room full of mattresses , but not put out . The area around the pool is a mess , the photo's show a nice lawned area , its not , its a mixture of patches of grass , sand , astro turf and soil , its not great . The rooms are basic but clean and the beds are ok . I read the other reviews and some people must be easily pleased this is a 2 star at best . Food is ok but again basic .…

We have been now for past few years and find this location excellent. From checking in to checking out it has been so simple and easy. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff as everyone would do anything for you so we have no problem going back again. Thank you Hotel do Golfe for making our holidays so special on each of our last visits

The staff could not have been more helpful when my daughter lost her passport. Guidance all the way, amazing reception! Snack bar staff equally fabulous and a great choice of food. Appartement spacious and very clean. Pool huge and very well maintained. Bit of a trek to town but shuttle available. Uber roughly 5 euros. Supermarket 5 mins walk and a fantastic Indian restaurant. Highly recommend but not for those with walking difficulty as not much near by.

We didn't stay at the hotel this time as fully booked which says a lot for this warm and friendly hotel, we did go I for a drink and were given a friendly welcome by the staff who recognised us, this hotel gives you that quite location but with everything in easy reach

Very clean lovely staff ..breakfast was OK beans cold ..only had a dinner once in the restaurant wasn't bad ..They do a free shuttle bus 3 times a day ..we always got the 5pm free bus to the marina the bus doesn't come back after 5pm ..cab was 8 euros..We would come again if the price was good ..only thing I would say is its so out of the way from everything..Indian about 10 mins walk was very good ..not cheap ..and brown's 10 mins walk do nice food as well its a sports bar ..we had a good 10 days ..just would had liked a little more near by ..Don't think it's good for young people ..Great if you like golf ..also you never have trouble getting a sunbed nobody puts there towels done early like alot of places ..pool very nice

This hotel is fine if your a golfer but location wise not a lot around to do unless you travel into the marina. There are two pools one now operational and the small pool was up and running 2 days before we left. There is a Spar about 10 minutes walk but walking back to the hotel is an up hill trek.

Great hotel, friendly staff and new pool now open! We’ve been here several times now and it’s a real find of a hotel. Shuttle bus to Marina and beach runs 3 times a day each way. Uber cost approximately €5-€6 from Marina or a 30-40 minute walk to Marina.

Returned here after Covid break of 4 years. We’ve visited 8 times in past. It was so nice to see the old faces. We were told in advance about new pool being built, offered a diff location but stayed with Do golf. Pleased we did. New pool is beautiful and the staff are as always so very nice. The rooms are clean and tidy. It’s a quiet venue perfect for peace and relaxing. We’re both 50+ at it’s an ideal retreat to switch off. You hear others complain about nothing to do. Well it’s a horse for a course as we brits say. If you want to switch of and just get lost in your own space, this is the perfect place. Can’t fault it. The manager is a lovely gentleman Elsa on reception is so nice and Dario’s and Fabio are there for you. A great team who will look after you. 100% recommend it.
