this place is really weird, me and my friends got the bottom floor (basement), room 1 it was tiny for 6 people. We were next to the kitchen and the bar area, bit surprising but useful when travelling with teachers because they cant hear anything. it looked like there was a white stain on the wall.... we all know what...

I had a door handle glued to the wall, my bed smelled like piss, the other bed had a period stain on it, the bunk beds were made from a door frame, the lights didn't work properly and everything could be lifted apart. The food was a spawn of satan and tasted like sewerage. 420/10 would stay again -IGN

Great little hotel, clean if a little dated. Very friendly staff - helped with all advice for the weekend. Location is good close to most amenities in Noordwijk. Breakfast was very good with a good assortment of food.

Nothing like I expected! Perfect for a school/college trip away, food good and clean and trendy rooms with bar in the basement which was open until 12/ 1 on our last night. Allergies catered for. Rooms are perfect for 4 students with an en-suite and enough room for everyone's luggage. 1 key per room. The website showed a dirty grubby...

We took a group of 25 music students to Hotel Aan Zee from 5th-8th July. The hotel is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are two dining areas, a bar and an area with a pool table and table football. This was great for our school party....

If you are part of a school trip the hotel is fine; basic, clean and ok food. You get what you pay for. Beds are fine but word of warning, bring your own pillow as sleeping on theirs feels like sleeping on a brick. Breakfast is different types of bread, boiled eggs, and some cold meat and cereal. The trip...

Rooms are very basic. Staff are sometimes friendly. The hotel is ok to a point. Quite close to the beach which is the best thing in noordwijk Aan zee by far. Locals friendlier than most places. Food a bit plain at ties but you pay for what you get.

We stayed at the Aan Zee as part of a large party travelling to Holland for a Sports tour. The hotel was said to be an upgrade as it was one of the better ones in the resort. Well it certainly live up to that. The rooms were comfortable but freezing cold or boiling hot. The bathroom was basic and...

We came to this 'hotel' in the September of 2012. it was evident from the moment we entered that the manager hated children. (we were a bunch of teenagers on a school trip). As the manager gave us all a talk, me and my friend both thought that this was a bit like a fawlty towers sketch, which isn't a...
