Amazing sea, sunset and mountains view. The building from outside looks very charming. The problem is when you get inside and realize that it's not well maintained. The bathroom in the room is very old. After a shower I ended with the water all over the floor. The lift was also very old and slow moving. For the price you...

We stayed at the Portofino Kulm in August. I was booked in there by the people I was working for but I brought my husband along for the trip and we stayed on for another 3 days after the job was finished. As others have mentioned, the view is spectacular and the hotel is in a wonderful secluded position overlooking...

THE sorrounding space helps a lot of course, THE natural park with its fashioned paths are a plus, the soft chic atmosphere you can smell there works perfectly on vacation, but... This Is just not enough, the best of the hotel are the pictures of the early ages, Family portraits, old newspaper pages along the... they let you understand where...

If you picked a hotel on the view alone, the Portofino Kulm couldn't score any higher. But at some point, the sun does go down and you are left with the only the comforts of the hotel. For those who are used to small European rooms with sketchy air conditioning and televisions from circa '82, you won't notice that this...

Stayed the weekend and loved every minute. Grand Dame hotel which has real charm and is the best value I have seen by Portofino. Do have dinner there - chef and staff superb and linger over the stunning view if the coast perhaps with a Campari and soda! La dolce vita - just found it

As we drove through the rather narrow entrance with my Weissman Teen Tour group's Mercedes Bus, my driver looked askance and I know he wondered what he was getting into. We drove on through a Forested area, up a winding road until at last, our jaws dropped as we spied and new "home" for the next couple of days! We...

The hotel was situated high on a mountainside over looking the Liguria coast (bella), but the rooms were rather spartan at best and given the price being paid not up to a four star standard. The downside was the restaurant staff were very snooty and not typically friendly. Overall the highlight was the village of Camogli down on the coast...

We did check on tripadvisor before going to Camogli again...and found this hotel...some of the reviews worried us but since we had a car we decided to try it for one night and actually stayed two nights...it was so beautiful...our favorite waited was the man we call General DeGualle because he looked like him....he was never abrupt or short with...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel. It's peaceful, the views are spectacular and the service is excellent. This hotel has the charm of a bygone age not easy to find these days. The staff are polite, properly trained in customer service and they speak English. The breakfast buffet is extensive. Lunch can be...
