We recently had a large group event at Villa Montecastello and everyone the entire time kept raving about the place. I had in mind that this might be an older place which was rough around the edges. Wow was I wrong. I am a physician by trade but do a lot of woodworking and home improvement projects. This venue was...

Words cannot describe the fantastic experience my family and I had at Villa Montecastello in the fall of 2012. Jens and Barbara are incredibly hardworking people who bent over backwards to accommodate every need we could have possibly ever imagined making our stay unforgettable. This is not typically a “wedding villa” however Jens was gracious enough to accommodate a very...

Our 7 night stay at Villa Montecastello was absolutely the best vacation we've ever had. There simply are not enough superlatives to describe how stellar every element of our stay was. Jens and Barbara are wonderful hosts and create an inviting, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the best of Tuscany. We will definitely be planning another stay.

My fiance and I stayed at the Villa for 5 nights and absolutely LOVED every moment! We have so many lovely memories I don't even know where to begin!! The Villa is emmaculate. Think old country rustic italian with five star standards. We stayed in the smaller apartment, the Pendolino and it was perfect. Comfy bed, dresser if youre one...

We spent 6 nights at Villa Montecastello in a 3 bedroom apartment (Frantoio). Everything about this place was fantastic - the views, accommodation, location, food and maybe most of all the hosts, Jens & Barbara. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our kids (ages 5 & 3) loved the pool, the animals, exploring the farm and making their own...

This place is amazing!! My husband and I stayed here for a week with 8 of our friends and we had such an incredible experience. Jens, his lovely family, and staff should win awards for their service and professionalism. The food was outstanding, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the grounds were breathtaking. Please do not miss this...

My family with two babies had a wonderful 3-night stay at Villa Montecastello. We had breakfast and dinner everyday at the villa and Jens created fasinating menus including Strawberry pizza! Quality of foods and home-grown ingredients were second to none. I would said meals at Villa Montecastello were beyond my expectation. With a group of 12 people, I was very...

This truly was a spectacular experience, Villa Montecastello really IS as good as it's pictures and all the other reviews say it is. We stayed there for four nights and were blown away by all that Jens and his wife Barbara have created in this amazing setting. Let's start by finding the place - if you aren't used to European...

I could go on finding superlatives to describe every aspect of this holiday. Our family stayed here for a week in April and we felt extremely relaxed and looked after from the minute we arrived. We (myself, and my invited family and friends - 10 people total) spent a weekend in absolute warm and welcoming ambience 24-7 and enjoyed every bit of the magnificient rustic place and surroundings, the super service and enjoyed the retreat to luxuriously facilitated and coozy rooms.
