#4 of 29 hotels in Lindos
GreenLeaders Bronze level
Simple, laid-back and effortlessly chic, Caesars Gardens Hotel & Spa is an oasis of strictly adults-only tranquillity where the impeccable service and stunning scenery guarantee an unforgettably relaxing stay. The hotel’s low-rise whitewashed buildings are surrounded by craggy hills, Mediterranean gardens and the electric-blue Aegean Sea. The rocky landscape encases the property, sheltering the soporific serenity within from the outside world. The interiors are unmistakably Aegean in aspect, with a warm and inviting mod-bohemian style where locally crafted furnishings adorn elegantly rustic rooms and suites. Similarly low-key is the vibe at The Magnolia Spa, an immaculate outdoor wellness centre where locally sourced ingredients and local wisdom come together to create life-enhancing treatments in the fragrant, peaceful gardens. Once fully pampered, toast to your holiday with a fine-dining experience and distinguished local wines in the Tárate Restaurant, where meals express a modern distinct Mediterranean flavour inspired by the surrounding terrain and the hotel's on-site farm.

I'll do this in bullet point to be easier to read and hope its helpful: Good: Rooms are big Bed is good The grounds are great location was perfect for us. Short walk to Lindos Quiet* Staff are friendly and friendly to a point...* Point to be aware of: Breakfast is very limited and dont bother if you have an allergy (Gluten free = rice cracker) leaving only eggs and yogurt - not what I expected for +350 per night). Breakfast buffet was often empty and on a few days did serve any eggs. (leaving me rice crackers, fruit and yogurt. (again for +350 eur a night) There is no pool service. No onsite restaurant Welcome drink is just water with some juice (no cocktail) Cocktails / drinks are 3x more expensive then anywhere else and not great. It's quite but not the good quite The hotel is full with Dutch people my review is placed with the view of 350per night if it was 120 I may have said it was a 4 Just dont bother I would not return that is for sure.

We booked a last minute trip to Ixia in a budget hotel and thought we'd treat ourselves to one night at Caesars as a treat; at £316 we expected luxury - the website promise a spa and onsite restaurant. Sadly this was far from the truth. They don't have a spa or in-house therapists, more they rely on technicians who travel the area and you can only book them in advance. Their 'restaurant' is merely a snack bar and if you want to eat at the restaurant advertised you have to travel into Lindos - a good 25 minute walk if you are lucky enough to find it. Whilst our room was spacious the layout was woeful; I expect to see a dressing table with a mirror over not a TV! The light fittings weren't connected properly so all you saw was a wealth of exposed wires. The rainfall shower looked amazing but the water pressure was so inadequate that I had to get out of the shower with a head full of conditioner whilst I waited for the water to warm up. The doors didn't close properly without slamming, so I imagine that's why the pictures above the bed were all wonky. The bathrobes are a nice touch if you're a size 6 - note to hotel - size 12 isn't considered unusual. We were left with one carton of milk for two for our stay. The steps into the pool are a hazard. The toilets at the pool area weren't cleaned at any point during our 6 hour stay and it became obvious later in the afternoon. The food at the snack bar is massively overpriced for what it is. Breakfast - we were offered poached eggs - the joy - only to be told, we had to make our own toast from the buffet machine. We made our toast and 20 minutes later the eggs were delivered. On check-out the staff seemed ambivalent to our concerns and there was no manager to 'take us seriously'. All in all, I feel I've been 'ripped off' as I only chose to stay one night and I just wasn't important enough for them to take my concerns seriously, so it's sad I have to take to this platform to make my views known. On a positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable and I slept really well.

Four of us visited the hotel for the day to use the spa, we all had treatments, lunch and spent some time around the pool. The hotel is very charming, with a lovely relaxed, boutique feel. The treatments were of a high standard. Lunch was delicious as was the wine and the service was really good. The pool was quiet and relaxed. I enjoyed it so much that my husband and I have decided to stay for a couple of nights next year after our annual stay in the village. I booked everything via email which was very easy as they responded to my emails quickly and professionally.

My partner and I have just spent 3 nights in this perfect hotel. The staff were amazing (special mention to Stacey for everything), the food was fantastic and the atmosphere/family feel of the hotel was incredibly pleasant. We upgraded to one of the bungalows with a private pool, this made our stay even more exciting and if you are able to upgrade we would strongly recommend this. We will return 😎

We have just returned from Rhodes island and a stay at the beautiful Caesar’s Gardens Hotel. We really could not fault this boutique adults only accommodation. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful in a genuine way and the food was amazing. It was a lovely peaceful setting around the pool with a stunning view of the rocky hills behind ( and the goats). Looking around the hotel every plant, pebble, art piece, furniture placement was in perfect symmetry to its surroundings although it wasn’t pretentious in any way. Don't leave without having an evening meal at their in house restaurant. They are passionate about what they cook and the waiter/barman is so professional and knowledgeable. When we left the manager and receptionist walked us to our car. Definitely not the cheapest option in Lindos but certainly the best for a intimate 5 star boutique style stay.
