Many reviewers express that Lindos Horizon hotel delivers excellent value, notably due to its cost-effective shuttle service and local transportation. The staff receives accolades for their warm welcome and the hotel's spotless maintenance. While the rooms are lauded for their comfort and breathtaking views, a few guests suggest the soundproofing could be improved. The hotel's amenities, including the pristine pool and popular snack bar, add to the guest experience, despite some calls for additional features. However, it's worth noting that weekend events such as karaoke might disrupt the tranquil atmosphere.

It was a last minute decision to take a holiday on Rhodes during the COVID pandemic and one we’re so pleased me made.
We’ve stayed at Lindos before but never at Lindos Horizon Studio.
From the moment our transfer coach dropped us at the gate just gone midnight we were made to feel so welcome by Stavros and his lovely sidekick ( I’m so sorry, I cannot remember how to spell your name). Our cases were taken to our apartment and that was the start of one amazing week.
All the staff were so pleasant. The grounds, pool area, pool bar and the apartments were spotless. The food was cooked perfectly and the waiting time was not very long at all.
Our apartment was very roomy with a large balcony looking out into the acropolis and the sea on either side. All of the apartments shared the same view as they all face the same way. They are equipped with crockery and utensils together with a two ring hob, kettle and fridge; everything you need to make your holiday as relaxed as possible.
On an evening we would walk into Lindos town to browse the many small shops and sit on one of the rooftop terraces to eat our evening meal. The atmosphere is magical especially as the sun sets and the rooftops twinkle with lights.
Lindos Horizon studios are situated in a perfect situation. Lovely and quiet in the daytime and evening, away from the bustle of the busy intertwining pathways in the town due to the many coaches that bring tourists to see the wonderful tiny Greek town and ancient acropolis.
A ten minute walk downhill from the apartments takes you into Lindos town. All uphill in the way back (There are plenty of places to stop and rest for a minute or two) but a taxi from the town is only 5€ and worth every penny.
COVID 19 had caused us to be a bit more cautious but both my husband and myself felt so much safer in Lindos and Rhodes. Everyone followed the mask wearing guidelines on public transport and in shops but around the apartments and pool we didn’t need to wear masks although Stavros and his staff continued to do so.
I cannot fault Lindos Horizon Studios and hope I’ve managed to persuade more people to visit. You’ll feel so welcome from the moment you arrive and you’ll leave feeling so much more relaxed. Thank you so much to Stavros and the crew.

We have just returned from a 2week stay at Lindos Horizon (Oct 2020). We were met and welcomed on arrival, despite it being after midnight. The accommodation was fantastic, light and airy with a magnificent view of the Acropolis from our large balcony. Everything was spotless and the restaurant meals all freshly prepared. The staff all followed the Covid19 protocol, wearing facemasks and cleaning tables and chairs thoroughly after each customer. The pool area had plenty of sunbeds and space to relax and if needed to socially distance. Swimming in the large pool was wonderful and relaxing. Last but not least were Stavros and Besari and the staff who looked after us, as if we were part of their family. They all made our holiday so exceptional. Thank you. X We will definitely return to this hotel. Highly recommended.

There are some places that people return to year after year, and Lindos Horizon is one such place. This was our sixth or seventh visit (lost count!) since 2020 and our 28th to Lindos over the years, and it's just a great place to stay.

Small and friendly are the keywords here. Lindos Horizon only has 32 rooms, arranged in four blocks of eight rooms, each with two floors, and one pool, and is managed by Stavros and his team. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and by the end of your stay you'll feel like you've made friends with all of the staff, and possibly some other guests too. The maids keep everywhere clean and tidy, even scrubbing all of the sunbeds around the pool before 7AM.

Rooms are simply furnished but comfortable. Ours had a double bed (actually two singles pushed together), a sofa, dressing table, dining table, double wardrobe, two large storage drawers, kitchenette (two electric rings, kettle, a few cooking implements, and the only thing we used was the fridge). The bathroom had a toilet, corner bath with a better shower than we have at home, a big wash basin, and a hairdryer fitted to the wall. Air conditioning is available (75 Euro for one week, 140 for two), and if you take the air conditioning you also get a safe deposit box for free.

In terms of location every room at the Horizon has a view of the Acropolis and the sea. The apartments are located inland at the side of the Krana plateau which is above Lindos, just behind the main road. It took us about ten minutes each night to walk from the Horizon to the middle of the village, but be aware that a significant section of the walk is down a steep, busy road leading down into the village which has no pavement and two way traffic. Some people may prefer to get taxis, which will cost about 5 Euro each way. Getting back to the Horizon is the same route but uphill, and the final section is very steep. The nearest supermarket is Krana Supermarket, which is at the bottom of the approach road leading to the Horizon, then Flora supermarket on the main road, and if you want something bigger you'll need a car or a taxi.

While we were there we heard lots of people say they were coming back next year, or even the year after, and we've personally booked for two visits in 2024 already. A great place to stay, and huge thanks to Stavros and the team for all of their hard work.

Just returned from a wonderful two week stay at Lindos Horizon. We had high hopes having read previous reviews and we were not disappointed.

It’s not 5* luxury nor does it pretend to be but if you’re looking for a small and friendly type place it ticks the boxes. Lindos Horizon gets a lot of repeat guests and I understand why as many people we spoke have stayed in nearby properties but all said Lindos Horizon was their favourite.

Studios are large and cleaned daily - maybe the bathrooms are due for a refurb but overall we had no complaints. We emailed prior to arriving and our room requests were duly noted.

Stravros is a great host and very accommodating and his staff are an absolute credit to him. The pool snack bar is surprisingly good with a huge choice available.

The accommodation is about a 10-15 minute walk into the village although it is a tad steep on the return journey. We didn’t mind the walk as it burned off the calories but if you don’t fancy it a taxi is 6 euros on the way back and 8 euros from the accommodation into Lindos ( they charge extra for pick ups).

If you fancy a change from Lindos nearby Pefkos is only a few euros more in a taxi.

Overall we had a great stay and we love Lindos in the evenings so we’d definitely return.

Next year Jet2 will have exclusivity to Lindos Horizon, we only hope it continues to be as good.

The only slight negative is lack of WIFI in the rooms, in this day & age having to pay for data isn’t ideal and even the ‘free’ WIFI around the pool was intermittent which wasn’t great as both my husband and I needed to check with emails. This was only a minor gripe though….

I've now stayed in 4 places in Lindos, all lovely in their own ways but overall this is the best. Located on the edge of the other residences makes this much quieter. The rooms are spacious with everything you need and regularly cleaned to a high standard with each room having a fantastic view over Lindos, the sea and the amazing Acropolis. The owner Stavros is a very friendly chap that made us welcome as soon as we arrived at gone midnight. During the stay around the pool and bar area both Stavros and Bessa were providing the most efficient and friendly service with breakfasts, lunches and drinks. With the village centre about 10 minutes walk away there is nothing to fault about this place and whilst there we were happy to book for next year.

Spent two weeks here in September 2020. Was fabulous. Stavros and his team could not do enough for you. Lovely pool and plenty of sun beds. Snack bar for breakfast and dinner - food delicious and reasonably priced. During this period they paid particular attention to the covid 19 regulations. Large rooms with large balcony and all areas spotlessly clean. When purchasing air conditioning the safety deposit box in the room was free of charge which we felt was a nice touch. We have already booked for next year.

We've just returned from two weeks at the Lindos Horizon. The apartments are clean, very spacious and well equipped, all with amazing views over the Lindos acropolis and the sea beyond. Stavros and his team do everything they can to ensure their guests have a good stay. The snack bar and pool are perfect and although Lindos can be busy during the day, in the evening when the tour buses have gone, it is much quieter with an excellent choice of restaurants. The only downside was that on four or five evenings a week, the hotel complexes further down the hill had loud music until the early hours, sometimes loud partying until 5am. Some of this can be alleviated by using air conditioning in the apartment (€125 approx. for 2 weeks) but if you want to sit out on your balcony with a glass of wine, forget it, you can't even have conversation with raising your voice. However, this was the only negative point.

I will start by thanking Stavros and his team (especially Ben or B) for working really hard to ensure everyone had a great holiday. The Lindos Horizon is small and friendly, very clean, with a great swimming pool and amazing food. It is about a 10/15 minute walk away from the village of Lindos and also the beaches.
The rooms are very clean and all have a sea view. The are where the hotel is situated is very quiet with a supermarket very close, about 3/5 minutes down the road.
We went on two trips - day sailing and also Rhodes by night. Rhodes was very busy with plenty of shops and restaurants.
Thanks again Lindos Horizon!

What can I say about Lindos Horizon Studios?, a lot I can tell you.

The hotel is in Krana above Lindos, it has a perfect view of the Acropolis, if you are an early riser, the sunrise is just beautiful to watch every morning.

The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are big, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom is big with a corner bath and shower.

Stavros is so laid back, very calm, a perfect host. Besar who runs around all day is just wonderful, he is so friendly. Btw, the food is great in the hotel.

The cleaners are so friendly and just lovely. They work so hard, watering plants too and helping in the bar when busy.

The pool is wonderful and big, very clean and safe.
There are plenty of beds, many people put their towels out very early.

My husband and I had a fabulous time. Lindos is very hot and the steep climb from Lindos to the hotel is not to be underestimated, taxi's cost €5 or €6 if you don't want to walk it.

Most people are British who stay at the hotel and many have returned multiple times over the years. We enjoyed our stay for 2 weeks and could not fault one thing.

Airconditioning is €70 for a week or €130 for 2 weeks, it includes use of the safe.

Hi. The rooms are spacious but have a look at the duplex rooms. They have a mezzanine floor which is accessed via a staircase, with two single beds upstairs (no separate bathroom). There's not a door on the upstairs area to keep it separate, but there would be separation between you if you see what I mean.

Hi. It's a lovely place but they don't do entertainment. Some of the other places on Krana do (Lindos Gardens for example) but there's nothing like that at Lindos Horizon.

Update - just seen a post on the Lindos forum that the shuttle bus does still run during the day and charges 50c or so.

It's negligible. Pretty sure it was something like 50 cents per day, so for our week there it would have been 3 Euro 50. Also, the tax is per ROOM, not per person.
