The Capitolina is located pretty much right in the centre of the interesting part of Merida; steps away from the Roman bridge, and the Moorish fort, and a reasonable walk from the Roman ruins. There's an assortment of restaurants very close by, including the property's own restaurant right downstairs. The street that the apartment is on is actually blocked to...

Arriving in Merida on a sweltering day, we were not looking forward to having to drag our bags from one of the public car parks. However, on checking in at the restaurant (as the hotel desk was closed), we were given a pass that allowed us to park our car within 50 metres of the hotel as it was a...

We were driving round & round through narrow streets before we finally spotted it. The hotel reception lady was very nice & helped us with parking close to the hotel instead of in remote parking. The one room apartment is lovely with kitchenette. The bathroom has 2 sinks & a very modern shower. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was just...

Enjoyable stay, very comfortable. Views of the bridge, close to town square, and walking distance to the ruins. Great family accommodation. We had a three bedroom apartment that comfortably accommodated the five of us. It was difficult to find parking nearby. The kids loved the long pillows.

Being a fussy hotel user I really look for places that stand out to me for one reason or another. The most important is that I need to feel comfortable in it. After all traveling can be stressful and you need a haven to go back to at the end of the day. The Aparthotel Capitolina was a little place...

We were very happy with our apartment and it was perfectly located overlooking the roman bridge and the alcazar and just next to the Plaza de Espana. It was very clean and the beds were really comfortable plus it was great to have kitchen facilities and be able to make drinks or snacks as a change from having to eat...

So clean comfortable and convenient.we traveled all through Spain and this was our favorite spot. There were 4 of us traveling. It is also above the # 1 rated restaurant on Merida Rex Numitor that can't be missed either.we will come back here for sure! The host and hostess are so accommodating.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Roman Bridge and the National Museum of Roman Art. We found a very spacious apartment with a comfortable bedroom, a high tech bath, plus a good view from its windows. As we arrived tired, we chose the restaurant, Rex Numitor, downstairs which turned out to be just superb. The food was...

Apartments in this building are close to the Roman bridge and the Moorish fort, and therefore the location is excellent. But the rooms are very small, and the traffic noise from the street (the one facing the fort) is positively deafening. The "breakfast" consisted of some bread and a small package of jelly. We would not stay there again, but...
