Very nice, simple and decent hostal in Jerez de la Frontera. We booked through Booking.com and had no issues whatsoever. This is not a luxurious hotel but if one is looking for good accommodation at a very reasonable price - this is the place. Nice simple clean rooms with en-suite bathroom - with all the amenities one needs. The room...

This small hotel is very charming with many authentic artifacts and furnishings. The room was spotless, a bit on the small side, but with everything you need, even hair drier. Breakfast is included and served in the beautiful little tables scattered in the house. The contact with Julia and the rest of the family and employees was excellent. They were...

We have just spent 3 nights in this hostal. It is a perfect location being close to the centre and to the station. We had a triple room which was spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfectly adequate. They recommended a restaurant to us which was so good we went there 3 times. If we...

We just had one night and one day in Jerez, and stayed at Hostal Fenix. Tucked away in the backstreets, about a ten minute walk from the station and 5 minutes into the centre, we thought it was a great find. The rooms were spotless, with every need catered for. All of the original features of the building remain, so...

Stayed for 2 nights during Feria so price was more than double High Season rate. As charges were so inflated I would have expected a better breakfast - Coffee/Juice/Toast/Butter/Jam could have been supplemented with Olive oil/Tomato/Cheese or Jamon. The basic is good at 45/60Euros a night but for 150Euros I would expect better! Also, single use sachets of shower gel...

Bit upmarket for this trip but 35€ + parking but Inc breakfast is vfm. Cute, quiet, clean and 5 minutes walk from their recommended restaurant in the heart of the old town - which was so good I am tempted to book another night.

Really enjoyed our 3day break in Jerez. The Hostal Fenix helped greatly to make it a success. The rooms were nice and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful even using GoogleTranslate to get over language issues. The courtyard area were great to meet for a drink before exploring the town

Great place with helpful host. Not too difficult to find and from the outside it does not anything special. But once you step inside there are beautiful sunny sitting areas. Rooms were very good size with a large bathroom. Refrigerator in the room was a nice surprise. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was simple but good.

Despite mixed reviews from this site, we went ahead and booked a room for our family of 5 at this small hotel for one night en route to Ronda. It is located in a small street, wouldn't have known there was a hotel if not for the sign. To be honest I was a bit apprehensive because our communications prior...
