As you would expect from a Parador the setting and the rooms were wonderful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking is complicated being remote from the hotel unless you get one of the very few spaces in the courtyard. Wandering around the narrow streets was pleasant and a stroll into town was worthwhile. The hills are steep and...

The Parador de Caceres is in a great location, just in the center of the medieval monumental town of Caceres. The rooms are spacious and modern keeping their historic feeling. The only thing I dond't like was the fact that we asked for the chance of a late check out and we were told that housekeeping staff left at 2:00PM...

Great location in the historic town of Caceres. Inside the old town means that you can expect some trouble to get to the hotel. But with the help of gps and driving experience I did not have trouble to find it. Oke, I didnot know that the garage was outside the centre but the vanned service was quick and the...

Don't believe their claim for on site parking. The few spaces are always full. After driving thru some difficult narrow streets-double parking to unload-don't believe the picture. I had to follow another car all the way back down and out of the old town to an underground garage and they vanned me back up. All in all a very unpleasant...

I suppose I should have been aware that if you stay in a historical site driving there may not be easy. There was nothing on our reservation details to tell us about the stoplight with bollards in the road stopping unauthorized cars entering the narrow streets of the old city and accessing the hotel. A kind local lady stuck behind...

In our recent trip to Extremadura we tried 5 Paradors and this one ranks as the most fearsome as to access. Being in the heart of the historical medieval center was a challenge how to provide access and parking through streets in which the clearance between car mirrors and street wall was no more than two inches in each side....

We stayed here for 3 nights in room 203 (facing the front of the parador, above the main entrance). Our room was modern and roomy. We enjoyed watching the sights from our small balcony too. The bathroom was modern and comfortable too. There was ample hot water and the bathtub was great. We had a bit of trouble with the...

My wife and I spent 2 nights in the Parador in April 2014 and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the old town of Caceres and therefore is perfect for exploring this beautiful, medieval city. It is easy to find when driving there because it is signposted once you reach the outskirts of...

The beautiful town of Caceres is not on most tourists to do list but it should be! The Parador is absolutely beautiful. We had a lovely room with a spacious bathroom and amenities. The Parador is in a wonderful location for exploring the OLD TOWN, The restaurant where breakfast is served is exquisite and the breakfast itself was the most...

Arrival to the hotel is interesting but not a problem thanks to the detailed instructions supplied by the hotel and guidance by tom tom. After reading previous reviews I was worried about parking but was able to park no problem and free. Room was clean and warm and staff were friendly and gave plenty of suggestions to fill our two...
