This is our 4th night in the region on an inn to inn walking tour and our dinner here was the best of our trip, possibly one of the best meals we've had in all of our vast travels. Maybe we were crazy hungry after a 13 kilometer walk, or maybe Alexandrer's preparation of standard dishes just stood out above... More

We were recommended this restaurant by the person who owned the gite as being good value and a lovely location and she was right! We came here on a number of occasions during our 2 week holiday and were never disappointed. There are 5 different menus available. A lunch menu, 3 evening menus and a la carte. The one we... More

This restaurant has it all. Fabulous location overlooking the river, fantastic food and great service. And it all comes at very reasonable prices. While the menu choices are limited (as they seem to be at many of the restaurants in the region), we had no problem selecting options for each course, and we thoroughly enjoyed each one. The service was... More

We have dined here 3 or 4 times now as it is our most local restaurant. The staff are very friendly and professional and the food has been consistently good and excellent value. A beautiful setting too!

Lovely location on the banks of the Cere river. Lovely room with a view over the river. The food both at dinner and breakfast was very good. Very warm welcome. Just like a logis de France should be. Good value for money. Delighted to recommend it.

We are on a walking tour in the Dordogne and arrived wet and muddy early in the day. The proprietress made us feel welcome, took our wet gear to dry and let us into our room early. The evening meal was a set menu four course meal that we delicious and beautifully presented. Merci, Madame. !!!

I was greeted with a warm welcome, even though I arrived early (due to pouring rain). Delightful location overlooking the river. Comfortable room. Excellent cuisine - a very good dinner and local wines. Care and friendliness all round. An excellent base for touring. Superb hike the next day to Loubressac via Castelnau fortified with a good Auberge Picnic. Nathalie and... More

We stayed here overnight on a walking tour. To have a cold beer or G and T after a long day's walk was good. Sitting on the terrace and watching the river slowly flow by. This family run hotel has superb food (duck was excellent) and very friendly hosts to match. All rooms overlook the river and are well insulated... More

Stayed here as part of a hiking holiday. We were greeted with warmth, shown to our room and made to feel like special guests. We had a lovely room facing the river. In a very quiet village of just a few houses and one other hotel, this was perfect for a one night stay on our walking holiday, opposite the river in a very peaceful setting. Arriving mid afternoon it was no problem to the owners to provide us with coffee and tea despite trying to get on with some painting. Our... More
