If I was writing this review after first night I would give no more than two points. Such big my disappointment was. My room was booked by company and I didn't have time to read reviews or research. But even it was clearly mentioned it is budget rate it was not that cheap (I paid almost 100 EUR per night) to be suspicious. And then I realise the room doesn't have a real bed. There was just a folding one like in a student room. Too small, to soft, very uncomfortable. I may say my fault, I should have better checked. But then I looked at their website and found out this kind of room is not in their rates list. Which I feel a bit of dirty game with customer. At the other hand I was really satisfied with everything else in the hotel. It was perfectly clean, quiet, staff was professional, friendly and helpful. I loved the building and its interior. So my final rating is much higher with recommendation: carefully check what you are booking in order to avoid disappointment.…
Very good hotel. Water pressure in the shower was excellent, internet for one device (only) is included and was good. Breakfast was good. Gym and sauna are there. For a conference just a very good hotel.
We stayed at Top Hotel Meerane for a couple of days on a business trip. The hotel is clean and appears to be in good condition throughout. The bedrooms are clean and mattresses very comfortable. Bathroom was clean but unfortunate had a bad smell from the drain coming through. Breakfast and Evening meal service was very poor. In the mornings coffee and juice was constantly a wait to be refilled and trying to get someone to do this was a struggle. In the evening service this was a similar scenario waiting for the table service. The evening menu food was nice quality but very limited choice and quite expensive. There is a Kaufland supermarket next door and a Chinese restaurant within walking distance. Not bad hotel overall but could use a little improvement on the service.
The front desk answers very quick to emails, there is a big parking space in front of the hotel and beautiful views on the landscape from the rooms. Our room (I think we were upgraded to a comfort room) was very spacious with a cool walk-in closet a bath tub and you could hear what was playing in the TV from the bath room. There is a really great chinese restaurant Mandarin just a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Big grocery store Kaufland is right next to the hotel and Subway is also close by. The staff is friendly, the breakfast table was pretty good and they prepare eggs however you wish them. The hotel restaurant kitchen is open until 11pm (at least on the weekends), but it is a little more expensive compared to the chinese restaurant in front of the hotel. The SPA area with 4 saunas: 2 steam saunas and 2 Finnish saunas (different temp.); relaxing area; massage showers; 2 jacuzzis and a solarium, but you need to pay for them extra. You can also order a massage, beauty treatment or cocktails, fruit plates. There is also a small sports area, but I think this costs extra. The SPA area DOES NOT have a pool, it just has a small place to jump in after the sauna, to cool yourself down. They give you 2 towels, but you have to give them a deposit of 10€ as well as a 1€ deposit for the cupboard.…
We only stayed 1 night but this is a perfect business hotel in an industrial environment. Very friendly people, nice room, good beds, big bathroom with nice shower. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was very good and very cheep. Breakfast was fantastic ! Unfortunately we had no time to explore the wellness which seemed to be very good. The only minor remark is that you only get 1 voucher to have free WIFI. So you cannot go on the internet with 2 people. You have to log out and wait for 10 minutes. I think this is a bit outdated.
