Location is very good - central train station and center of the town are less than 10 minutes walking away. Grocery store is a minute away. We had additional heater in the room which was convenient in cold evenings. Breakfast was all right, although the same every morning. Our room 25 was just beside the shower. Although accommodation was not very good, it was all right. It was the least expensive accommodation we could find in Lappeenranta.

For me this was a perfect choice for the one night stand. Nearby the railway station and the city center with very low price. I arrived quite late and leaved quite early. Didn’t see any hotel clerk but the keys were there as agreed. I traveled by myself but there were big 4 persons room for me. Nice! Room was quite and clean. There were also a big fridge in the room. Breakfast was do-it-yourself type. So I make my own coffee and took everything I need straight from the fridge.

Päätin pysähtyä ohikulkumatkalla CitiMOTELiin yöksi. Budjettimatkailijoiden suosima, siisti ja keskeisellä sijainnilla oleva motelli. Itsepalvelu aamupala oli kohtuullinen. I decided to stop by passing the CitiMOTEL for a night. Clean and centrally located motel. The self-service breakfast was reasonable.

When I arrived in the hotel at 2.30pm there was no one at the reception and no calling bell. Fortunately I found a key with my name and room number on a shelf. The room was small and the toilet was stinking of urine. We threw out the mat in the toilet and waited for someone to come at the reception. Finally we saw a cleaner who gave us a mop and some cleaning solution. We had to clean the toilet floor ourselves. The staff were indifferent and couldn't care less to our complaints. The only good thing was the good location - close to the station and the small town centre. Will never again use that hotel.
