Elegant and stately manor house / chateau. Quiet and relaxing; happily no television. Generous and comprehensive French breakfasts. Delightful alfresco area underneath the chestnut trees overlooking lavender fields. Our hosts provided information regarding local scenic attractions not necessarily included in mainstream brochures. We saw the close-up times as added security rather than a curfew.

Basically a refined guest house ; therefore, you will not have the standard hotel services but probably much more ; location is very nice, an old small castle with a very beautiful garden facing a stunning view of Valensole country. Monsieur and Madame Glory are very supportive and efficient . The House has its rules : check in and return... More

We have just returned from a second stay at the Chateau, 6 years after our first stay. It was every bit as charming as we remembered. The hosts are very hospitable and we were lucky to have a 3 day package, which included a meal. The meal was stunning, and a completely different experience to previously. Our first visit included... Had a one night stay in October of this year. The chateau is not quite what I imagined, firstly it is not a hotel, you are staying in a room in the owner's home. The photos give you the impression that there are formal gardens to walk in, whereas in reality there is just a small strip of formal garden... More

Beautifully restored chateau in a lovely setting representing 12 years of passion and dedication by the current owner and hosts Monsieur and Madame Glory. Bad backs beware of laborious climb up stairway to rooms. We got the Marie Antoinette room ( it says so on the room key and just to be sure you remember there's a portrait of her... More

Amazing little chateau, beautiful views and stayed in a superb suite. A relaxing start to our travels around the South of France. Delicious breakfast too - wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to return - definitely worth the visit.

Valensole was not a part of our original trip plan at the first place. Though we decided to drive there and make a stop. This lovely petit chateau drew our attention while searching for a place to stay without booking beforehand. Luckily, the suite was still available and the owners were so friendly and helpful. All in all, we enjoyed... More

This small chateau, which the owners Mr. and Mrs. Glory have lovingly restored and decorated with period antiques is a very special place to stay while visiting the area. Reception very friendly and helpful. We were too early for the lavender in full bloom this year, but the Gorge was gorgeous.

We had a lovely stay at this little chateu. Our group of 12 swedish sailors experienced fantastic sourundings, lovely food at the candle light dinner at the chateu and the owners took good care of us. They helped us with bookings like wine tasteing and different day trips. Very useful when you dont know the area. The rooms at the... More
