We are staying in a garden villa that is Rotunda in shape, the room is absolutely filthy. furnishing is from the dark ages, tea/coffee provided with a kettle that does not fit there sockets (no adaptor for same?) no room safe,... Dear Mr. Kearns, First of all, I would like to say thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking time to post a review here on TripAdvisor. We wish to clarify regarding the adaptor, we have available adaptors at the Front Desk but it’s upon request and Philippines’ socket design is totally different from the other countries.... More

Most of the foods in their menu are the traditional Filipino ones. I would say the taste is somewhat ok, nothing fancy. We were satisfied enough. Most of servings are large enough that we cant consume all of what we ordered. It end up storing at our room's REF

Friendly and attentive staff and a great atmosphere. A little hidden paradise in Cordova at Mactan Island with swimming pool, beach and restaurant! Clean and spacious rooms with air condition at reasonable prices.

Well this was 'something else'. This reminds of an old Philippine Butlins, if there ever was such a place, without the amusements. Cordova Reef Resort is situated at the far side of the island from the airport. It cost us 400 pesos to get there, about $US10 and takes about 40 minutes. The checkin was fine and the first thing... You can tell there were ambitions for this lovely, faded resort at one time, and it was quite nice. It still is, if you are not expecting the newest and the best. Yes, they have thread-worn bathrobes that are still serviceable. The grounds are lovely, and there are individual villas for each guest. That is the most distinctive thing about... More

The weirdest place I've ever stayed, mostly due to the fact you hardly see anyone and you feel like you've been dropped off in the 1970s. Saying that, it's also very beautiful due to the tranquility. Basically, the owners want to sell it and so it hasn't been touched for years, which is a shame because it could be fantastic.... More

I’m not really sure what to say about this place but here goes; First the location is amazing, the villas are set in a small wooded area and you have direct access to the ocean and a private beach. The pool is fantastic as are the bar and the restaurant. The Villas themselves you can see were once beautiful and... More

Hotel was not really clean. Everything was very old. Seems like they didn't do much since they opened. Pool looked great- for the first, but water was really dirty. Food was okay, little expensive for that what you get. Only one room key. And too many small insects inside the room.

as others mentioned, this is the last building on the swampy south east part of mactan. among those some resorts in the country pretending to be high end, but paying miserable minimum wage to their employees, this is the worst one i have experienced. i will start with the prices, especially drinks: 125 pesos for a canned san miguel. served...
