Visited 20 years ago and enjoyed an elegant, stylish, well run hotel with excellent service. Visited in January 2017 to find excellent food in a disappointingly refurbished dining room. Was expecting knowledgeable service from the gin bar that was not forthcoming and period furnishings in the restaurant, which we later discovered in a stunning room that used to be the...

I booked Grafton Manor for an overnight stay for nyself and my Daughter , I thought it would be a treat for her to stay somewhere nice. We arrived at 9.30 after traveling all day, When we eventually managed to get hold of a member of staff we were showen to our room by a very pleasant young lad. When...

Ate in restaurant this week for the annual 'Indian Festival'. Food was okay, but no better than anything you can get in any of the several Indian restaurants within five miles. The restaurant is old fashioned with very tired looking furnishings/decor, cold and draughty with a single gas fire to heat a large room. Young staff very polite but service...

Grafton Manor is a beautiful building with some great features, so I can understand why people want to have their weddings there. However, our room was tired and in need of upgrading. The avocado shower suite was old and the shower was old and very slow. We actually cut short our stay as we really didn't think it was worth...

We were visiting the area for a family celebration so stayed at the Grafton Manor on a bed and breakfast basis. We booked the Garden View Suite as it was not all that much more than standard rooms. The hotel is in a quiet location down a narrow lane and on arrival we were surprised at the size of our...

I made an online booking with the hotel and received confirmation of the booking. Now 5 days later I get a one line email saying my booking has been cancelled as they have had a better offer of exclusive use for a wedding. This shows what they think of their other guests!

Had afternoon tea in the marquee. Surrounding absolutely beautiful overlooking the garden. Sandwiches were a bit boring and some were quite stale but there was plenty of cake choice. Fresh hot tea and coffee as much as wanted.

I travel for work a lot, and was pleasantly surprised to discover this hotel up a long country road on the outskirts of Bromsgrove. It is very definitely an old manor, the rooms are large and ornately decorated in period style, which I found charming. The lawns and grounds are immaculately kept, I wish I had found this place in...

We visited Grafton Manor to celebrate my husbands birthday. We have had many memorable visits here. What a disappointment. The bar is now downstairs and looked as if was furnished with cast off furniture. There were only two young girls running around trying to cope. It was cold and very unwelcoming. No one even gave us a menu. In fact...
