We have stayed here a few years ago. Decided to book again because the cost of staying here was so reasonable and we knew it was conveniently located for our visit to the NEC. We had a warm welcome and the staff were all friendly. The first night there was a bit of a problem with noise from other guests...

Stayed one Saturday night with coach trip. Lovely hotel, room was lovely, large and clean. Was pleased with that. Went down to bar for drink with friends soon after we arrived. Happy hour 5-6pm. So great! The place was suddenly invaded by a convention of adults and children in Minions outfits. They were so loud and so many of them...

I was checked in by a receptionist with all the charm of a prison guard. I asked if there were stairs to the 1st floor and she told me there are no stairs. Really-no stairs? On checking out I waited while the receptionist shuffled some papers. I asked if it was possible to get cash at reception. The receptionist said...

yes the hotel is a bit dated and the bathrooms are still the ones that Stakis Hotels fitted when the hotel was first built. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable although word work needs a repaint. The bed and linen was fine. I stayed on a Sunday night and the price I paid was low and therefore great value. Breakfast...

Starting g to shake off the after effects of previously being a run down Hilton hotel. This place is gradually improving and becoming more comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful. Well situated but still in need of a refurb if it's to justify its prices. Has offers on etc so as I say improving. Worth consideration. Jason and Lukasz are great...

We stayed here for an overnight stay on route to Bury in Lancashire from Liphook in Hampshire. The car park is gated with a raised bar which, for me, adds a better sense of security. However, you do have to add a fiver to your bill for the privilege. Reception area big and spacious, staff welcoming and friendly. The bedrooms...

Overpriced for mediocrity, rooms are a great size but very outdated decor. Staff are friendly but slow. The lobby/ breakfast areas are like something out of the early 90s, very grande and royal but very dated and it's noticeable.

Previously visite when it was a Hilton just to use the public areas as an impromptu meeting point. The fact Hilton sold this to Britannia doesn't bode well. Firstly, I suspect Hilton no longer felt the condition was in line with the Hilton brand and didn't fancy the investment bill and partly because Britannia are not known fo great hotels....

Stayed for a night to visit Birmingham. First off they make you pay for parking. The entrance is nice. Staff at the front desk when we checked in were friendly but had no idea how to get into Birmingham ie told us taxi would cost a fortune and then buses didn't run regularly. Managed to find an uber for £15....
