The room is very modern and the owner puts every effort in to making it a nice stay. The only thing that lets the loft room in the lodge down, is that it's very hot. If a fan was supplied it would be perfect. Nice toiletries and an iron with board and hair dryer is supplied. The wifi is quick....

We have stayed here previously on three occasions , going back a couple of years and had no complaints. We stayed here last weekend, booked the room the week before. We stayed in the Chequers room, which i had not stayed in before. Basic room, just what you need for an overnight self catering stay. Unfortunately i found the shower...

Stayed overnight and initially mistook the Queen's pub opposite for the hotel. A member of staff at the pub pointed it out and informed us that there was no reception and we needed a code to get in which we didn't have. We went over and fortunately there was someone there cleaning and they let us in. I'm not sure...
