We booked a unit for 4 days/3 nights & received $200 credit which we used to do a 4wd north island tour & I loved Snorkeling the Wrecks (big thankyou to guide Rose). Feeding the dolphins was free with our stay. We were on ground floor with pool directly in front of us & just far enough away from reception,...

We've loved Tangalooma for many years - but this is our first visit back since the upgrades to the bar and restaurant area. You could never fault the location - incredible beach, sunsets, great activities if you choose. We always loved the daggy old bar and restaurants - reminded us of our childhood, but were blown away with the new...

Good location for families with young children. Safe beach and excellent snorkelling. Needs a better children's playground though. Good size rooms for families for the price. However, the food from the bar/cafe is terrible and needs improvement. Will definitely come back.

We've been visiting here since 2000. We've seen lots of changes but believe they have all been for the best! The facilities are amazing and if you just want to relax and do not very much, you can do that too, in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Staff are great and the restaurants are greatly improved, with...

My sister and I stayed in the Kookaburra accommodation overlooking the beach and were able to see the sun set each day from our balcony. Staff were very friendly. Snorkelling requires paying to go on an excursion with tanga tours as current VERY strong between shore and wrecks and wetsuit advised as wrecks rusty. Really excellent fish to see -...

The Island is perfect for a holiday for every age. The resort is well layed out and easily to find your way around. The rooms are spacious, sunny and have everything you would need. However it is extremely expensive so would suggest if your going take as much food and drinks as you can carry. The rooms were well maintained...

Having stopped at Tangalooma on a cruise ship last year I could not wait to come back with family and friends this year and explore the Island. It was such an easy trip from the Sunshine Coast and we were relaxing in their bar for lunch before we knew it. What a great start! Apartment: We booked a 3 bedroom...

I use TripAdvisor for when I come to make a hotel booking but have never put a review on myself. I have always thought I would leave this to all the other users until today... the reason for my review today is that I want anyone who is considering staying at Tangalooma island Resort to know exactly what they are...

Hi Ryan, I'm sorry to hear that our resort was not what you were expecting. Tangalooma is proudly 3½ stars with a huge choice of accommodation options to cater for the needs and budgets of all our guests. The room you booked for your stay was a 'Run of House' room. At the time of booking, we clearly state that...

Tangalooma has a beautiful beach, various activities for all ages, and friendly staff. Our hotel room was mediocre but we only used it to sleep so it was fine. There were not many options to choose from for breakfast - either bakery goods or a pricey buffet. There is a lack of nightlife here, but if you're looking to relax...
