We stayed as a small family in June 2022 in a Standard Room by using the Prestige Pack at Pollina Resort, about 12 km from Cefalu. The resort is located on a plateau with a wonderful view of the sea and offers a spectacular sunset every evening. The resort is very well maintained, spacious and offers various places for sunbathing. The stone beach is easily accessible by lift and you can even use a kind of shuttle service from the lift to the start of the main dining room (vice versa). This is an excellent service, especially for older people in high temperatures! The beach itself is very clean, as the water also. There are enough sunbeds and parasols available. However, why people still have to reserve sunbeds with towels, despite numerous notices in the resort itself not to do so, is beyond comprehension! Rooms: The rooms themselves are well kept, but small. In addition, it must be criticised that the possibility to dry the beach towels is simply not given. At least not in the rooms without balconies. There is only a tension line in the bathroom, which is not very efficient and visually unappealing. The room cleaning is very good >> Greetings and praise to Concetta!!! Reception: Mixed impression. Request for a room upgrade was answered with the fact that one should contact them again later. Asked again a few hours later and told to call back at a later date. The third time we were asked by the same person at reception if we had already spoken to someone else. >> ??? Furthermore, it is to be criticised that the reception did not give any information about the resort (map, restaurant information etc.) at the check-in. Lapidary answer: The print is not ready yet....well. Restaurants: The Perseo (main restaurant) is large and therefore more like a canteen if there are enough people. However, this is typical for a resort of this size and is not really a reason for complaint. The food is okay, although not absolutely high-class, which cannot and should not be expected in a 4-star resort. Nevertheless, it offers a good selection and the quality is okay. Those who complain here should objectively ask themselves on what level they eat at home. It is praiseworthy that the two maitres Giovanni 1 and Giovanni 2 and also „our“ Guy Francesco were always helpful - for example in reserving the table and fulfilling our „individual“ wishes. Compliments and many thanks! Note - Fish Degustazion Donna Floriana: We used this offer twice and were thrilled both times. We can NOT confirm the criticisms of Donna Floriana mentioned in other reviews - on the contrary. The criticisms regarding the quality of the food as well as the price are completely inappropriate. We also experienced excellent service from Mauro. Thanks also to our cocktail lady (thanks for the first-class HUGO aperitif!) and Mauro's colleague on the first evening for helping us with the wine selection! Kiddie_Club & Entertainment: The whole Team around Vince and Serena (Giusy, Margi etc.) do an excellent job. Full stop! Our 6-year-old felt completely at ease. Last but not least: Of course, someone can criticise the fact that only French is spoken in the resort besides Italian and that information is only available in these two languages. However, if you look at the majority of the clientele, this is quite understandable. Finally: Special thanks and greetings to Giulia (Deputy Manager): She is very nice and helpful and always has an open ear for criticism and suggestions for improvement. And also special thanks to the Guys at the Gate – always friendly, making Jokes – great! And where you can find someone at a Gate of a resort who clean your Car at the End of the Holiday by realizing that you have some shit of seagulls on your Car? Service at its Best! Conclusion: Absolutely recommendable resort - expectations were not disappointed and we would recommend it with appropriate "hints" at any time.....and we are sure that we will come back again!…

Had a fantastic holiday, resort had everything you could want. Gardens and public areas immaculate, room very comfortable modern and clean. Bar and Restaurant staff were excellent, thanks to the central bar team, who were very helpful and always smiling. Animation team worked endless hours, very professional. Even though the hotel is aimed at Italian and French speakers, 95% of the staff were more than happy to speak a little English, only issue was the excursions were only available in French or the Italian and therefore we didn't get to see much of wonderful Sicily on this trip. Special thanks to Antoinella (central bar) Raul and Max (animation and tennis coach) and Julia from reception who took time to explain how everything worked. Two points to consider, restaurant was a bit hectic, would benefit from allocating the same table at all meal times especially with the current Covid situation. Checkin could be better and time taken to explain the resort/map/facilities. Great value for money, would love to return in 2022.…

We stayed for a weekend (2 nights) in June, during the Covid-19 period, at the Pollina Resort. We really enjoyed both the relax and the animation team. All of them were always happy and made us happy. As for the Covid-19, the resort was well organized. Here's how it worked; -When we went to the restaurant for dinner and lunch we had to wear our masks. There were many options, as if it was a buffet, but we were served. Also we had a specific time to go there. -When we walked in the resort we had to wear masks -There were had sanitizers pretty much everywhere -When you enter the resort they measure your temperature The rooms where very spacious and clean, also the food was good. In the end I want to compliment Vinz and the girl who gave the aqua gym classes. They were really amazing. To sum up I really loved this place and I planned to come back to spend a full week there.…

We stayed for one week mid August at the Pollina Resort near Cefalu. A fantastic place very clean, lots of activities for the kids (9 and 15). Great club ado. We did three excursions and they were all fantastic (our guide was Mario). Food was good, lots of variety - a bit noisy. Kids have already asked to return next year which is always a good sign.

I recently spent a weekend in this resort! We really enjoyed the time spent at this resort, my son(7yrs old) loved the mini club, they did lots of activities and the mini club staff were super friendly ( the entertainment team only speak Italian and french, nobody speaks English.) The pool is lovely, sea water pool and the small pool is ideal for children. The beach is amazing!!!it’s not a sandy beach, it’s little stones but the water and the view were incredible. I was really impressed by the food!!!it was very good food. I’m Italian and I am honestly say that I had some very good Italian food. I would highly recommend this resort.
