From the minute we boarded the boat until we disembarked, the entire trip was fantastic...wonderful hosts, delicious food (especially homemade bread, pea soup, toutons, fish!!), authentic Newfoundland kitchen party, beach boil up, very clean accommodations, very friendly staff...even shopped at 'the mall"...perfect two days. Thanks for making this a memorable holiday! Can't wait to go back!

Recommended by a Newfoundlander friend and can't thank her enough. Wonderful time with many Newfoundlanders who were taking in the Resort for the first time. Our table assignment worked out really well - 2 Ontario visitors and 6 Newfoundland residents. Couldn't have been better - basic accommodation, good and plentiful food, WONDERFUL bread. Gary - you are a wonderful host...

This is a piece of Newfoundland you shouldn't miss. It's not luxurious at all, it's quite basic but it is so much fun. When you can say you had the most wonderful of experiences when one full day of your overnight was raining you know you've been to a special place. The group on our trip were mostly from Newfoundland...

We spent an evening at Woody island Resort. It was a fabulous and fun filled evening. We enjoyed the friendly staff, the very well run embarking and disembarking on the boat, with explanations of what we "were in for". Thank you Gary. There is lots to eat and the meals were wonderful. As we entered the building we were greeted...

Quit possibly the most authentic experience ever. Accommodations were exceptional, as were staff and meals. Possibly the best adventure. Scenic Vistas were unbelievable. Wonderful trails that transported you to another time and place. Exceptional on all accounts if you're looking for adventure, comfort and hospitality! Not to be missed.
