Stayed here for one night (family of four). The cabin was basic, clean but somewhat past the days of glory, a bit like we expected. Sofa-bed was clearly ”done”! If this cabin is advertised for four, this bed needs to be replaced with a new one. Service was nice and friendly, a really nice joined indoor picnic-building.

Our cruise organised this. Charming Sami hosts who told us about their traditions before we went out on the sleigh. The reindeer were real characters as well and we got to feed them moss afterwards. Ours was the greedy one. Fun and informative

The camping costs 20€ for a tent and two adults, including the shower (very clean, like the bathrooms in general) and the kitchen, well equipped with fridge and microwave. Also included Wifi. Recommended

I have been multiple times in Alta and I have always used this camping which is really comfortable, it has a good space for tents and also different kind of cabins, from small to big, I used both during the years, but even the small ones are comfortable and spacious and in a very good shape. Then there are the usual amenities of the campings, shared kitchen, shower, toilets, they are new and in a very goos shape and cleaning condition. It may be a bit uncomfortable to reach it if you don't have a car because it is not close to the town but a 4-5 km out, on a side road and I'm not sure whether there are public transports to the area

Decent facilities and the cabin we rented was clean and comfortable. However the check in staff were impersonal almost to the point of being rude and the location of the camp is a fair way out of town. As with most things in Norway you don't get much for your moneys worth.
