Helsinki Airport is complete chaos for years already (since 2017-18, I guess) - and one never knows which route to take after claiming one's baggage to reach a taxi, airport hotel or anything else that matters. Hilton Helsinki Airport is still relatively easy to find despite the never-ending makeover of Helsinki Airport and the number of labyrinths since 2018 that still seem to be there - believe me, these have been quite a few in the past 4 years!. Still, quite easy to find and in July 2021, having stayed here three times already, this stay sums up all our visits as of July 2021: warm and approachable staff, clean rooms with wooden floors, and a solid Hilton experience in general. Our stay 31st July is no exception: very welcoming check-in, clean & functional room for plane spotting (#402) that we specifically booked for this stay as well as the general feel of Hilton quality. Very convenient location within walking distance of the terminal. Everything was as expected or better (got a Diamond upgrade to a room with a sauna, which was nice and unusual). Breakfast finishes a bit early for me (10:00AM), Executive lounge was consistent with European standards, with special thanks to Ms. Rosy for her excellent attention. Would return.

I have stayed here a few times and always had a good stay. This time was no different. Room was available for a checkin on time - and I had been upgraded to an Executive King with access to the lounge because I am a Hilton Diamond member. The room was well appointed and had a comfy bed. It was also very quiet despite being close to the aiport. It is a bit of a walk now due to the changed payout of the aiport but still very close. The Executive lounge is a nice place to sit and watch the airport. They do 2 hours of food and drink - and it was adequate to fill a hungry belly and the white wine was quite nice. Overall a great choice, albeit it can be a little expensive but you cannot fault the ease of airport to hotel room.

Being served rudely by lack-of-stress-resilience skill and looked quite senior receptionist lady who did not like it to be bothered by my coming to her for a check-in. I greeted first and told my check-in the confirmation. No greetings as a start. Instead, she said “I need your ID” with that tone and raging face that made me felt being looked down. She said “I could not find the reservation” that left me to wonder (and still feeling threatened) and mentioned my surname again as “S……” or “K…..” with questioning tone, as my surname contains 2 words so I was not sure which one went onto their record. She replied in almost shouting tone “I can read!!” with that face ready to blow up. A minute later, she managed to find my room key that’s prepared already, but then SMACKED it onto the counter. That’s it, no “welcome to our hotel” or “have a nice stay”. She came back staring onto the computer. Her trait made me felt disrespected and impacted my mood when I had to take care of some business works on that day. This Finnish customs and arrogance - that I believe was the thing (have learnt it and has experiences pretty much), isn’t appropriate to be implemented in an international prestigious hotel chain like Hilton and she should’ve known this as an intangible conduct in customer service industry that she’s been working at. I wonder how Hilton Airport Helsinki has made it important of the proper customer service conducts within the first face of the hotel and in the criteria in the customer service employees recruitment. …

I was in Helsinki for a very short visit - a little less than 24 hrs. I opted for a hotel near the airport so that I could attend my meetings and leave the next day. Hilton was perfect for that. Just a 10 min walk from the airport, it provided me enough time for my meetings. The staff was welcoming. The restaurant though had limited choices but the food was pretty tasty. The breakfast was a large spread and a mix of the Finnish and regular european break.

The reception at this hotel is by far the worst I have experienced by any Hilton facility. “Since you did not book direct via Hilton homepage you will get no points”. My company always uses their own channels - but I decide where to sleep! Restaurant expensive but good service.

The hotel itself is fine, and meets all the expectations of a Hilton Property. Beautiful interior. Modern amenities and bathroom fixtures. My frustration was trying to FIND the hotel, while dragging a heavy suitcase, exhausted from travel. INADEQUATE SIGNAGE to guide passengers there. Paddington station in London is the gold standard for FOOT SIGNAGE THAT YOU FOLLOW to get a foreign tourist to the right train that goes to the airport. This hotel and airport need to partner together to make the experience better.

Average Airport Hotel, probably a bit expensive for what they offer and the room standards. Confortable king bed, but the 3th one was kinda unconfortable and small. Great breakfast but we wont come back next time.

Had a really comfortable stay here, the bed was great, massive bathroom and was quiet so slept solidly. Its a short walk to the terminal where there's food available and easy journey in to the city if needed.
