We booked this hotel 2 weeks in advance for a price of 115€ per night with the flex fare and the member discount. We chose this hotel mainly for the low price and proximity to the airport.
After arriving from our flight, we found the free shuttle bus to the hotel. The bus was large with a lot of luggage space. The bus took around 20 minutes to the hotel, but the bus stops at other airport hotels too, so make sure you exit at the right hotel. The return journey to the airport was only around 5 minutes.
We arrived quite late in the evening (around 8.30 p.m.), so the only rooms left were in the groukd floor. The room was spacious, having 2 single beds, a desk for working, and plenty of empty space. The bathroom however needs a complete revamp in my opinion, as the shower door was difficult to close, and the whole bathroom felt very dated.
The other aminities included a pool in the sister hotel next door that we didn't use. There was a restaurant in that hotel too, offering some dinner.
The breakfast the exact same as in every single Scandic hotel. This included a good selection of food, but most of them taste like they have maybe just been microwaved.
I think this is a okay place to go get some sleep after or before a flight.

Good quiet room, soft beds. The heating in the room did not work, I adjusted it to 23 degrees, but the device refused to heat it to 21 degrees warmer. I encountered the same problem before. Bad thing for those coming to sleep from the cold outside air. Breakfast is a basic set, I would have liked some extras. Abroad, hotels usually have machines with which you can make several different drinks.

We liked everything about the hotel. Service, breakfast, cleanliness. The only comment is about the bathroom. The engineer who designed it apparently did this for the first time. The soap dispenser is located in the opposite corner from the sink and shower stall. To use soap, you need to walk a few steps from the sink. But this is not the most inconvenient thing. The hygienic shower is turned on by a tap from the sink and is located under the sink, and the toilet is in the opposite corner. To use it, you have to try really hard. A very bad decision. This is the first time in my life that I have seen such a poorly designed bathroom.

An overnight stay to catch an early flight. Easy access to/from the airport and railway station by the free shuttle bus. Friendly staff, quick check-in. Room was of a nice minimalistic style with plenty of free space, very clean and quiet, comfortable beds, hot shower, had everything you needed. The air-conditioning was set quite high and didn't adjust so I turned it off as prefer it cooler for sleeping, not a problem. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been a great addition, but hot drinks were available in the reception area. Breakfast was very good and varied, with a separate gluten-free section which was much appreciated. A great value - €99 for a double room including breakfast when booked early.

I am absolutely thrilled with the new travel experience. I received excellent better service from Piia on Friday, October 13, 2023. The room upgrade was successful and we got a room that had not happened by accident. Long, spacious and, as a plus, sockets next to the bed. Wc skylight was impressive! On Saturday, Kirsi respa arranged a second night in the same room so that there was no need to change rooms! The pizzeria provided extremely good pizza and excellent service! The sauna was worth experiencing and certainly the best hotel sauna! There was space and hot baths! Breakfast was peaceful and noiseless, even though it was incredibly crowded! There were no noise problems in the restaurant, and no queues due to the fine placement of the serving tables. The food was hot, as it should be, and not lukewarm! A complete success and I will come again! Roses and thanks to the girls of Piia and Kirsi respa! It is their style and professionalism that gives customers a wonderful experience and makes them feel welcome! I haven't had this experience in other Scandic hotels! The cleaners have done their job well!! The first time I didn't find a mess in the room when I stayed there!!

Scandic Helsinki Aviapolis Hotel is a 15 minute shuttle from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and 30 metres away from Scandic Congress Centre. The hotel offers free airport shuttle service. A breakfast buffet is available from 06:00 to 10:00 a.m at the restaurant, convenient for guests checking out early morning. Breakfast was good, Reception Staff are friendly but not so helpful.. Please check the timetable for midday shuttle service, as there are no pickups between 12:30 & 14:00 hours. We had to book a taxi instead. Should you wish to extend your stay and if booked on booking.com site, you have to go through the same checkin procedures again but luggage storage is available until check-in time. Perfect Stop Over For Day Trips i.e Helsinki Cathedral, Boat Trips, Mall of Tripla, Nuuksio National Park and more!

This is a “no frills” hotel, very minimalistic, not even a phone in the room. It’s very well sound proofed, haven’t heard one plane. It’s well situated close to the airport and offers a free shuttle to and from.
I wouldn’t like to stay long term as the only dinner option is pizza which was delicious however I don’t want it two nights in a row,
The breakfast was fabulous, there was so much to choose from. I had a carrot and ginger shot. I also indulged in a beautiful croissant. My partner had the zucchini fritter which, I’m told, was delicious. The young waitress was very efficient and didn’t stop.
If you have a stopover in Helsinki this would be the place to stay.

The Scandic Aviapolis is a hotel near Helsinki Airport. There is a free bus from the airport to the hotel, you catch the bus from bus stop number 42 at the airport. The free bus comes every 20 - 30 minutes. The rooms at the hotel are nice enough, we had two single beds in our room. I would have liked a kettle in the room to boil some water for tea and coffee, so that is area they could improve. There is a bar, pizza restaurant and a small shop to buy things. There is a sister hotel across the road with a larger bar and restaurant in easy walking distance. The breakfast was included and was very good. One big negative was that the shower could have been cleaner, there was a lot of hair on and around the shower drain. Overall I felt the hotel was economical and well presented, with good efficient staff.

Unfortunately, we felt that the hotel's services had decreased compared to our previous visit in 2018. In the evening, you couldn't get any food from the restaurant except pizza, and you had to order it from the cashier, because there was no table service. Fortunately, the pizza was served to the table. We wanted to add the bill to the room bill, but it didn't work at first, the room bill was closed. However, the matter was fixed by going to a repair shop, where it was repaired. I would have liked to buy yogurt, curd or a smoothie for the room from the Shop, but they were out of stock. We had an early flight in the morning, so we didn't have time for the hotel breakfast, but we asked the night before if it was possible to have breakfast with us. In the morning, we received small breakfast bags from the respa with a roll, fruit, a small sweet, coffee/tea could be taken from an automatic machine. It was good not having to go on a flight hungry. When we were leaving the room, we were not asked how the visit went, nor were we welcomed again, as is usually the case. We were left with a bit of a bad feeling. From the hotel, you can conveniently get to the airport with a free bus shuttle, excellent transport connections.

Just an overnight stay for early morning flight. Pretty basic things but clean room and early breakfast available at 4 am. Shuttle bus takes you from the hotel front door to Helsinki-Vantaa airport in approx. 10-15 minutes each 20 minutes, free of charge. You can also leave your car to hotel parking lot at low cost and take the shuttle bus back from the airport to the hotel.

Not sure, I was using taxi, but, ther was many shuttles going to and from airport. Hotel is located some 5 minutes driving from airport, so i believe in worst case you can bo back to airport and then travel to city center.
So you have 2 separate stays, checking in at 11pm and 9pm respectively? That's really not so late. I stayed here in August and had no problem checking in at 11pm.
Their airport shuttle runs between 4am - 1am. I tried to include the link to the schedule but this site won't allow it. You can find it on the hotel's website under "Facilities."
There are more places to choose from in the Vantaa area.
