We stayed in a family room which is essentially 2 rooms without the dividing wall. Very adequate for one night. Shuttle bus was literally 5-7mins from the airport (stops at one other hotel first) and is situated as the first stop from the airport terminal. Prepaid so check in a breeze, and the room was located on the same floor as reception. Didn't go to breakfast because of early start - shuttle back to airport booked on arrival and hassle free short trip back to airport in the morning.

As most of the people we stayed at the hotel because of an early flight from Helsinki airport. The hotel is under renovation and you could spot it right at the arrival. Anyway, we didn´t experience any safety or disturbance issues and our stay was smooth. A large family room resembled a dormitory but our kids loved the circle windows like on a plane. The price of the room was reasonable. We also had great meals at the hotel restaurant in the evening, very tasty and served by a very nice waitress.

The Pilotti is situated about 7 minutes drive in their free shuttle from Helsinki airport. Running every 30 minutes (at +3 minutes and 33 minutes), there is never long to wait, although in our case at least, it was a bit of a bun fight to get on. The bus leaves from Bus stop 21 directly in front of terminal 2, and also picks up at terminal 1. The hotel is basically a transit hotel, with quite small basic rooms. Our room came with very comfortable twin beds, a TV and a sparkling bathroom, but no fridge and very little room for your baggage. There is a quite reasonable breakfast on offer and it starts quite early so if you have an early flight you can still eat. Reception was also friendly, helpful and efficient. Hotel itself is bit far from airport but they have free transport from/to airport. Surroundings have noting special but room was clean and sleeping quality ok for one night. Room size was rather small and toilet tiny. Actually whole room brings my mind ship cabin :) . Breakfast was good and starts early if you have a early start.

Came late and left this "hotel" early in the morning. Good transfer from the airport. Very little room, ok bed. Poor breakfast, not many healthful choices. Friendly staff. Didn't feel cosy in this hotel.

Right upon arrival I got good service: after an early morning flight I got the room already at 10:30 am, very nice! As said in the previous reviews, the rooms are small and basic, but clean and nothing to complain about. If you need to work or spend time in the room, this is not your choice. But if you need a good bed, peaceful time, toilet and a shower, go for it. The breakfast is good enough. It was a nice extra to have free coffee and tea in the lobby. To the big shopping mall Jumbo is 5-10 mins walk. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed one night (actually five hours) after Finnair canceled a flight due to mechanical problem. If this is your only option at Helsinki airport then it will suffice, although would not select this hotel on a return visit. Room was small, even by European standards, and the bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was laughably tiny. On the plus side the full buffet breakfast was available quite early (530a), although somewhat meager.

Hotel is rather old an in urgent need of a renovation. Rooms very small for two persons, bathroom is tiny. When you take a shower, it is wet all over the floor. Breakfast is ok, but some of the dishes were a bit dirty looking.

Was booked into this hotel as needed somewhere by the airport. Free shuttle from airport which is good. However hotel looks a bit rundown from outside and situated in a residential area so little options for going out in the evening. Stuck i hotel as a female travelling alone was not a great experience. Was booked into a double room but the first room was quite small with 2 single beds and a large Tv on the wall but nothing else not even chair. Went back to reception and got a room with "double bed" i.e. 2 single beds together but at least the room was a better size and had a desk and a table so could work. Bathroom was so minuscule that you were practically standing on the toilet to have a shower. Tv didn't work. Bed comfortable. Free good wifi. Receptionists didn't…

We stayed at this hotel for one night due to connecting flights. We had a late arrival fortunately we were informed previously that there was a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and vice versa every 30 minutes. Its a small, black but comfortable shuttle bus and it took us around 5 minutes to get there. The receptionist was amiable and our check-in quick. We stayed on the second floor facing the parking lot, in a double room. In spite of being 5 minutes away by car from the airport, the location of the hotel is in a quiet area. The room was very clean. The bathroom is small but has everything you need: fresh towels, shampoo, liquid soap, hairdryer. There was no air conditioning in our room but there was a fan.
